IMO when Kuz gets back we wont see Dudley at all. Just a good bench guy and vet leader. But on the court he looks slow...horrible passes and slow reaction. Again nice to have as a vet...but honestly no court time once this team is 100%. |
Disagree.
I think Kuz can play backup SF and Dud gets some backup 4 mins. |

Dudley still has plenty of value on the court, miles more than Rondo.

We can sit both on the bench. And saying that someone is an enforcer in the NBA is laughable. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

So Charles Oakley wasn't an enforcer? What about Ron Artest? Ben Wallace? |

Let's not judge vets too harshly based on the pre-season. Players like Dudley and Green have nothing to prove. |

Dudley's willingness to mix it up is heartwarming, but let's be serious- he's not an enforcer. No one on the other team will say, 'uh oh, here comes Dudley. Let me be careful because I don't wanna get on his bad side.' I don't think he has that kind of reputation as a tough guy. "Enforcer" isn't the right word for him. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. Yeah, he was right too.. Any of those guys try to do there "enforcer" act today and they just simply get fined and suspended a couple times and suddenly aren't an enforcer anymore (at least to the magnitude that they were in there eras). Those days are def. way in the past. Plus I highly doubt any opposing players are remotely scared of Dudley like some people were of the above mentioned names. I like dudley, he seems like a good guy but c'mon....

The Lakers franchise player wants to play 4, and if the Lakers have any interest in keeping the player they invested so much in, they ought to listen to him. |

Dudley is a solid vet who will give you timely 3’s like last night, he’s gonna be big for us in close games if he can hit the 3. |

Yada, yada, yada.
He's an idiot making a stupid request. I don't listen to idiots and I don't listen to asinine requests.
Winning cures all. I'd bank on him winning my way, with him at center surrounded by shooters and defenders, rather than listen to dumb-ass jocks who have zero clue or vision of what it takes to win a ring.
Your logic is sound my friend. I just believe in principle. I staunchly believe that he and the team are at their best with him at center and James at PF (defensively).
I'd ride (or die) for this principle because I believe it's the best way to get what I want -- a wining season and Davis resigned.
People tell you that the best way to get a chick is to be nice to her and to put her on a pedestal, but it's the guys who follow their own authentic principles and are unapologetic about them who always get the top shelf females.
Davis will resign if he is lead properly, not if the Lakers become "do-boys". _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter. |

I'll say it again: Dudley should be starting over McGee.
I'd give Taken Horton-Tucker Dudley's current role as fourth big man until Kuzma is back healthy.
My second unit would look like this:
PG - Caruso
SG - Cook
C - Howard
PF - Horton-Tucker
SF - Daniels _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter. |

I prefer Vogel’s second units that always run with either LBJ or AD. |

Really impressed with how he keeps the ball moving. I'd like to see if he and Kuz can mesh together on that second unit (with Kuz at SF), since Dudley seems to bring more value night in and night out than Daniels. _________________ Under New Management |

Those minutes when Kuzma hurt his nose and has to sit out a bit were big. Kuzma was our 2nd/3rd option basically (McGee was the 2nd maybe) and then you lose that, maybe you will struggle a bit. Nope, Jared came in and did exactly what was needed.
Love that. |

Nice signing, he goes games without playing and comes in knocking down 3s like Reggie Miller.

but Dudley is the kind of cat who would take one for the team and retaliate against in bush league BS. For example say Patrick Beverly tries slides under AD and causes him to tweak his ankle... we got a player who can go in their and crack one of their made of glass players in return. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |
