I do think he needs to lose a lot of weight. I would say 30 pounds....
He plays above the rim but always seems to come down in odd body twists. I think it was bound to happen.
I wish him a speedy recovery. |

Look at the bright side Pelican fans:
You might get a top lottery pick next year as well...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

That's why the Lakers made the right decision regarding AD.
Tanking is a vicious circle. |

Zion was an amazing revelation this summer.
But I've always had a concern about his explosive game and his 285 pound frame. Something had to give. Didn't realize he had some knee issues in high school too...get well kid! _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

We all just have to enjoy him while we can, if we can. That much bounce with that much weight isn't destined to last. Assuming he does get healthy at some point, I expect he only has a few years before he transforms into a different, less exciting kind of player. |

It's amazing how long Blake Griffin did the explosive stuff he did. Took him a few years to transition to the more versatile version today.
And Zion is somehow more explosive than Blake, but also probably 30-35 pounds heavier too. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Here's a good video explaining why Zion is more susceptible to knee and ankle injuries.

He posted this video a few days before Zion's surgery was announced. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |
