I dont think we'll see type of production too often.
But I do think we'll get our money's worth.
I thought he played Kawhi well. Better than I've seen others do, including Iggy. |

Quote: | Danny Green was on the court w/ Kawhi for 21 minutes. Kawhi shot 4-12 in those minutes & the Clippers were -6.
In the 10 minutes Kawhi played when Green was on the bench, he went 7-8 from the floor & the Clippers were +11.

Are we maybe underselling him? Could there be some untapped potential here? He's never had an opportunity to be a volume shooter. Of course this game won't be the norm but I don't think it's the worst idea to give him the greenlight to shoot close to 10 3s a night and see if he can't have a career year. He's also a great consolation for missing out on Kawhi. Watching their matchup, it was clear that Green has been Kawhi's teammate his entire career and has a feel for what he wants to do on offense. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

There is little potential at 32. We are more likely to see the opposite. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Green has been a consistent 3/D player his entire career that’s not gonna change even if he can’t Improve significantly at the age of 32. |

The 32 year old is coming off a career high in 3%. Give him the shots and see what happens. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Danny Green is already the heart and soul of this team. My favorite Laker. Just Bradley and Green together is so nice. They just need time. |

He probably took a good time studying Leonard’s move last year. |

We've officially got our big three of Lebron/AD/Danny. Kuzma can be the 6th man of the year coming off the bench like Odom. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

So far, earning that money deal. I worry about these guys making 6-10 million a year or so, and then being unable to produce. Green is bucking the trend for us right now. |

That's what makes this such a genius move. This is the first time in Kawhi's career that he hasn't had Danny Green as a teammate. When you really look closely at how he guarded Kawhi it was like he was two steps ahead of him at times. We could've signed other 2 guards but none of them have that kind of familiarity with Kawhi's game. He's probably guarded Kawhi in practice 10s of thousands of times, doesn't even need to look at film. This was a (bleep) chess move. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Danny Green and Kawhi were teammates for 8 years. Good chance Danny spent a lot of time defending Kawhi in practice. |

I think most of us here agreed that on paper he was the perfect signing next to Lebron and AD. Now he's proving it on the court. Very active hands and always aware of what's happening on defense even if he's not in the play. On offense he knows how to play off the stars' attention. This is what he's done his entire career. Love what he's shown so far. It's also easy to root for him because he could've signed with other teams but waited for us. |
