I was happy when you talked about almost quitting being a Laker fan because you couldn't stand the idea of rooting for Lebron.

USC complaining about people being unhappy

lmao for real. Dude was upset when we got Lebron James and he needles me for being upset about our league-bottom 3-point shooting.

Kuz, like many recent “young” Lakers, seriously overhyped. He comes from the Alonzo, I gram, Russell pedigree of overhyped talent.

You're such a pervert.

DLo had 52 tonight.

And he stuffed the stat sheet besides the points. Great game from him.

Ok, he had a good scoring game. Missed my point that Kuzma is a bit overhyped at the moment.

Thanks for the personal attack, Baron.

Most people these days can’t think outside of binary terms. Kuz is either garbage or a future all-star.

He hasn’t played basketball in months and he’s just been playing a week. Don’t think any good analysis counts what he is doing now as anything more than getting back into game shape minutes.

Exactly. Leave Kuz alone for a couple more weeks while he gets back into the flow.

I definitely think he will give us more than he's been giving. But I still think the "Third star" talk is pie in the sky.

KCP needs to talk to a sports psychologist. The dude just looks broken.

KCP needs a lot of things, including a religious savior, and a miracle.

He seriously looks like one of the NBA players after the Monstars took their ability.

Yeah if they were just 'OK' prior to that

Yo this defense

That’s a great 3 point shooting team that was held to 17%!

The good news is we have the defense and closers for any playoff series. What remains to be seen is if the supporting cast can make shots. They will have to hit shots in playoff series.

I really think they're too far ahead of the pack to worry about being jinxed. They don't have a challenge on their schedule until early December. The 74-8 talk is going to start picking up soon.

We could serious start 15-1 or 16-1.

Raptors and Suns haven’t been push overs so far. I like the Lakers chances but I’m not looking past those guys.

Edit: (just looking at next few games on schedule)

A loss in any of the next 12 games would be a huge upset. I think they should start at least 19-1. A loss @ Denver in game 21 would be understandable even though they should really win that one too.

I think they should blow both of them out. Jazz, Heat, and Spurs had similar records and looked like complete scrubs when they played the Lakers.

Lonzo is shooting over 38% from three this year - that would be 2nd best on our squad right now. Hart the same %. BI shooting a ridiculous 48% from three, as well.

So I confirmed it by going and rewatching vogels interview

He was told by their analytics guy Lakers contested 88% of the heat shots during the game

So, sure, heat on a back to back but Lakers sure as heck didn’t make it easy.

Yeah sucks we had no shot of keeping either of them. Josh Hart is looking a hell of a lot better than Kuzma though.

You're upset about everything.

7-1. League's best defense. Here you are, upset. Lighten up. Grumpy. Your sarcasm isn't going to make the shots go in.

I usually like to keep replaying certain quarters, certain comebacks, buzzer beaters. The only bad about tonight's win is I don't really wanna see anything again. LOL!

Gotcha.

Btw I wasn’t being cheeky. Ultimate point I’m making is you gotta give to get and none of the guys we gave up have the elite level impact AD has on both ends of the floor when you combine with LBJ. I really like BI and felt he was gonna be something good but I’m not gonna look at his nice offensive stats and regret it - we got AD and I’m good

We might need to rest Lebron before that though.

I just want a game where our offense clicks as well I think it's only clicked ... once so far?

Had guests over, couldn't post during the second half, but I did have the stream up and saw the defense clamp down yet again as the game wound down.

Seeing an opposing team go several minutes without scoring, and having to scrap desperately to get any kind of good shot off, now THAT's a thing of beauty. Even if the offense is missing some shots. Caruso and Howard have been outstanding IMO. AD and Lebron too of course.

Not surprised who was out there on the floor when we put this game on ice.

Kuz is trying to get comfortable out there...This ain't 2K people dont come out of the gate and start producing right after an injury..Give it some time he'll contribute...What im more worried about with him is defense. I know what he brings to the table on the offensive end.

Great W cant believe i missed this game and another Caruso dunk.
