He's out a couple of weeks. No big thing. Heal up. He has been playing very hard so with Rondo back, this should help in AB's absence.

Yeah, it would've been even worse if both Rondo and AB were hurt at the same time.

It’s out a minimum of 2 weeks. He’ll be reevaluated then. So thats best case scenario.

I say let him rest because this dude brings it defensively.

Save him and have him healthy for the money games while letting some others play for now.

Really wish we had him against Trae.

I hope he comes back for December. However, our problem against the Kings was more in the offense than in the defense.

Active young long teams will give us trouble, add the fact tbhey can hit 3s and its not a good sign for our team

Yeah, today we gave too many 3s, although some of them were well defended. However Rondo needs to defend far more better than today, with his today's defense level we stand no chance against better team if he play several minutes.

Hate to see AB out, but if he needs to get 100%, that's way more important this time of year.

The team is starting to come together every game offensively, I would have like to have seen Kuzma in the starting lineup over KCP, but it is what it is...
It would have been interesting to see a lineup of:
LBJ+Green+Kuzma+AD+JaVale
start a game, although Kuzma's defense leaves a lot to be desired and would have gotten eaten up on the wing...

Yes, Kings, Raptors and Mavs gave us trouble.

Avery Bradley to remain out during Lakers' road trip

Quote:
The Los Angeles Lakers say guard Avery Bradley, who has a hairline fracture in his right leg, will be reevaluated the day after Thanksgiving, once the team has returned from its four-game road trip.

The Lakers will play Oklahoma City, Memphis, San Antonio and New Orleans on the trip.

Lakers are 20th in defensive rating without AB.

8th overall, but 20th since AB has been out.

Imo, it coincides with Rondo/Kuzma coming back. Caruso/Bradley were absolutely shutting opponents down when they closed as the backcourt.

It also coincides with increased offense. It is like when you play better on O, you kinda slip on the other end. When you know you can not get as many buckets you really tighten up your D. Teams have also gotten better on offense as the season is developing.

But absolutely we need Bradley back and we need to get back to the D we had early on.

According to basketball reference, we are 2nd in D rating.

Would be nice to have him back for Denver this week. The first really good team we've faced in a while.

Avery Bradley has been cleared to begin basketball progression. He will not play tomorrow or on the upcoming road trip and will be reevaluated after the Lakers return.

Kyle Kuzma has a mild left ankle sprain and did not practice today. He’s questionable for tomorrow.

Whenever they stall like they did yesterday, you can assume that more time will be missed.

If AB news was good news, they would have shared the news on Friday like the original plan.

It’s the Laker way. Now we wait and hope we don’t get day to day Kuzma prognosis for 2 months.

I think the Lakers can beat Dallas without Kuzma and Bradley. But the Nuggets in Denver, that’s hard to say

Agreed, once we get him back all these 3’s that opponents are making will become more tougher for them.

We really needed him vs Luka today. He hounded him all game in Dallas and, while he didn't stop him, he made him work and spend energy just bringing the ball up the court. When he is healthy, I want him as our starter at point for the rest of the season..

Gotta be a given he will start when he returns. Some were saying KCP when he was hot from 3, but let’s face it, the Mavs exposed the Lakers without Bradley.
