Isn't it a little weird that Nate had the MSG crowd? Nate always talking about being a real West Coast gangster, etc.....but the MSG crowd is in his corner over the Cuban American from Miami?

Round one was odd.. I thought Nate could have been finished in Gamebred stayed in Murdermode

I compare Masvidals killer instinct to Tryson.. Every punch is meant to kill you and no punches wasted

With how Gambred was playing around...I got the feeling he wanted to drag the fight out for the fans. Nate had nothing for him. Nate's saving grace has always been his cardio and pressure. He ran into a dude with cardio just as good, is just as relentless but better every aspect.

I could totally see that. nate couldn't do anything against him. his best bet was to pull guard.

This did have.. I hate to type it.. a sense of staging.. as though Masvidal didn't slow down because he was forced to he did it to not finish this hyped up fight in 30 seconds?

I really thought Nate got tagged right away with a blow that looked to daze him... how that meathead stays up.. I got no idea

And honestly.. I was ready for rounds 4-5.. who knows what might have happened

Maybe Nate has just taken too many strikes.. like Vince Carters knees

Was an entertaining fight, but as you guys said it was clear that Nate had nothing that he could do to win the fight really, Masvidal is a beast and was tagging him at will. The impressive thing about Nate is his chin, he's able to absorb a lot of punishment, but against someone as precise and as well conditioned as Jorge, it's not a good recipe.

I think as Jorge says, Nate will get baptized if they run it back

Saw Nate's cut. I'm surprised his eyeball was still hanging on. Still the ref is an (bleep) and should've let him continue knowing who he is.

It's incredible how good Jorge looks out there. He's so nimble and dynamic. The movement in the ring was impressive.

I'd be interested in ar rematch of Wonderboy and Masvidal. The last fight was the only time I've seen Jorge look thoroughly confused in the ring.

I actually think it should be KO of the year over Jorge's jumping knee.

Just brutal.

You would get no complaints from me on that one JB. The slipped jab right straight head kick combo was very smooth

You see reddit's nicknames for Lee lol? GSLee. LeeSP. Tristar Kevin Lee is a real thing. Man if you're an established fighter looking to get your game to the next level, that's the first gym I'd go to.

Woodley seems to have one foot in/one foot out imo. He's on TMZ all the time, does a ton of studio work and is releasing rap albums.

Hunger's not there.

Not to toot our respective horns but we called Gamebred-over-Nate.

Dude, unlike Nate, is POLISHED in every facet of the striking game. Nate has not evolved as a defensive fighter and Masvidal is just too quick, too accurate, and too smart. And just as important, he's a dog but he only relies on his warrior-through mode when he has to, not as its Options 1(a) & 1(b).

Is Conor asking for 3 piece & soda too? Bad mistake. Dana, for all his tomfoolery, knows the game well enough and that's why he but the kabosh on the initial pondering of a Mac/Mas scrap, calling Jorge "too big for Conor."

That Mas star is rising and it's so well deserved. Dude is a real one.

He and Izzy are by far my favorites right now.

Just saw a clip of Hands of Stone giving Masvidal his insight on how to fight Nate in the arena, the day of. Nailed it. Told him to essentially to keep Nate at punches end (knowing Diaz was only looking to close the gap) and gave him spot on details on how to get inside Nates wide punches and get to the body, then head. Great stuff from Duran.

Who wants a Nick Diaz vs Masvidal scrap?

I wanna see it, but Nick Diaz doesn’t look healthy man. CTE or weed or alcohol or all 3 have taken their toll

WTF is up with the UFC allowing Zabit to fight in a main event for only 3 rounds?

Come on.

I suppose it has nothing to do with his tank emptying by 2.5 rounds.

It's like that scene in Half Baked:

Nick had a shot at Gamebred last year and pulled out. For good reasons, is my thought. Now he just needs to pull out of self-destruction mode, get clean and live his best life. Definitely not interested in watching the version of Nick I've seen lately do anything but rehabbing and teaching jujitsu classes.

Yeah what the heck was that?! Supposedly he had staph infection too. Dana will always try to protect his hype trains lol

Aniah Blanchard confirmed dead following positive identification of body found in Alabama
https://www.mmafighting.com/2019/11/27/20986196/aniah-blanchard-confirmed-dead-following-positive-identification-of-body-found-in-alabama#comments

Quote:
Blanchard, who is the stepdaughter of UFC heavyweight Walt Harris, had been missing for over a month as police searched for answers about her disappearance.

She looked so kind, innocent and beautiful..

Horrific tragedy
Quote:
Surveillance footage had captured both Blanchard and Yazeed in the store at the same time, which led police to search for him. Yazeed was already out on bond for separate charges including kidnapping and attempted murder.

Wtf?? Out on bail for attempted murder and kidnapping? Did he pass a psych eval first. Did he pass a lie detector

Change the rule immediately. If you can't pass a psyche eval when in for A VIOLENT CHARGE you aren't going home without a sponsor no matter how much bail you can afford

4:56 of the final round 5th

Wack. I'm shocked and confused

Was really surprised to see overeem do so well so long but that Rosenstryk? Has incredible punching power when he launches it.

Reem is going to have some severe CTE in the future.
