The lead was never more that eight points for either team. The Lakers seemed to be building a larger one at the start of the second half, but a 15-1 Warriors run put an end to that. A recurrent theme of late was lapses of defense and ball handling. But after comminting 23 turnovers and allowing 85 points in the first three periods, the Lakers had only 1 TO and gave up only 18 points in the 4th quarter. Their 12-2 run late in the period gave them the lead and the win.

Another great game by Kobe Bryant with 42 points on 11-22 shots, 16-19 FTs, 8 rebounds, 1.26 prod, 35 eff, and +7. 14 of his points came in the 4th.

Andrew Bynum finally had a non-foul-plauged game and responded with 10 points, hitting all 4 shots, 15 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, 20 hv, .94 prod, and 27 eff. He was a big part of the Lakers 51-36 rebounding edge.
