Hopefully we get more folks giving him props instead of the "trade him while he's hot" talk. |
My post in T&R:
I will stay on KCP's azz until he wins a ring or is off the team. MFer stole $30 million bucks the past two seasons and is making MORE $$$ than Lou Williams this year. KCP needs to give us a full season of this as redemption. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Or else he becomes a 30/30 guy - he only plays when we're up 30 or down 30. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Tyler Johnson is making $19M this year and has a much worse PER than KCP. |

December 15 is right around the corner. Hopefully he can keep it up. |
I just have to point out....
Be realistic with expectations. I hope people don't lose their minds and start calling him TRASH when he stops shooting 43%. If he kept that percentage throughout the year, he would be the greatest shooter in the league. Don't worry about percentage (except ft%). |

KCP has not only hit threes but his shot selection looks much improved. I think part of that is Vogel simplifying his reads on hand offs/ball screens. If the big doesn't commit he takes the shot, if he does then its a pass/lob. He's at 66.7% on pull up jumpers the last six games.

Every player in the league not on a rookie or minimum scale contract is overpaid compared to Lou Williams. He has the worst agent of any NBA player since Pippen. |

Lou Williams may be underpaid, but he's seriously overrated for an inefficient (at best average) volume scorer / bad defensive player... |

There is a role for volume scorers off the bench, hence Lou's 3 SMOY awards. He's certainly not a max guy, but he should be getting double+ his current deal.
Back on point - if KCP shoots 40+ % from three with decent D and minimal bonehead plays, he'll be worth the dough. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

SMOY awards are good, but he's still almost a useless player in the playoffs (just take a look at his advanced numbers...). As I said, seriously overrated, but people are obsessed with PPG... When you play more than 30 minutes per game, you don't count IMO as a a "bench" player... |

Hes their 3rd best player comes off the bench and blows out other teams second unit. I think hes pretty good weapon to have coming off the bench |

I'm not saying he's a bad player, I just don't get the fascination for this player... Volume scorer with average efficiency, below average playmaker, bad defender, average 3pt shooter. Overall his impact on the court is IMO almost non existent, and it's getting worse in the playoffs. 32 minutes per game ? Let's hope Doc keeps playing him that much... |

Credit where credit is due. I was calling him a bum a few weeks ago, and I am happy to be proven wrong and admit it. |

Lou may be inefficient, but, if he goes 1-9 and hits the dagger in the 4th, does his efficiency really matter? This strategy is how the Clippers are using him: a "closer assistant" to Kawhi. Lou specializes in making difficult shots, and, if he makes one or two of those late in the 4th, it breaks the will of the opposing defense (similar to what Kobe used to do to teams at a much higher level). |

Go KCP! I still can't believe that this is the same guy who airballed a layup a couple of weeks age. WOW. How things change. Thanks to Dwight for lifting this guy up. |

In a blink of an eye, KCP is shooting 45% for the year and 41.5% from threes. Our team just got deeper if this is the real KCP. |
