Would we have kept Wagner if we didn’t go after KL?

Yeah, lets see how his stats hold up on a team worth a damn.

Bye.

Good on offense but a turnstile on defense

Maybe they just can't play in Staples.

Mo does look like he's in better shape.

They had to play against AD and Dwight.
I think they'll be fine against other teams.

would not have minded keeping Wagner but between Dwight/Mcgee/AD/Lebron/Kuz sucking up all the 5/4 minutes there would not be any minutes for him.

Had Cousins been healthy, the Lakers probably wouldn't have sign Dwight, but Cousins would have wanted 30 minutes plus playing for his next contract. Which means Wagner would be warming the bench.

There are 2 types of teams in the league. Teams who aren't good enough to win a championship, and teams that have Wagner.

So far, Wagner, T.Bryant, Bonga, Lonzo (yes, Lonzo), Hart, JC, Nance jr, Randle, Svi are all replacable

DLo ($29.3mil-max), BI (prob same, max) and two late 1st picks is the real price to get AD

Plus pick swaps, the Pelicans own our draft in the future.

No

There's only 2 guys we gave up that we'd miss and that's Ingram and DLo. Everyone else will almost certainly become an expensive mid-tier contract.

And in a few years time, looking back, Ingram will probably turn out to be the only irreplaceable guy we gave up.

Only BI and Lonzo.

Wagner looks soft as charmin. Brian Cook level of player . His only defense is taking charge .

I'm guessing they'll be pretty good starting next season once Zion settles in, prob makes the playoff so we're looking at the difference of 6-12 spots (late teens vs late 20s), still a good price to get AD
