He must be a Laker until he retires, right now LeBron and him are the best superstar duo of the NBA by far.
AD just seems like a good, hard-working dude, to go along with his prodigious talent. So glad to have him here. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

AD is leading the team in points, rebounds, blocks, steals, FT%
Guy’s amazing and he’s doing it pretty quietly.
His defensive FG% is also incredible. Yesterday, players shot 1-9 on him.
Can not wait for a moment in the season where we send out Dwight, AD, Green, Caruso and Bradley out there. That lineup will contest everything.
Early returns on the AD & LeBron pairing...is that its working. The team in 25 minutes per has a offensive rating of 113.2 and defensive rating of 100.3 (+12.9 Net) when they share the floor. All three of those numbers would rank 1st league wide.
The link also says that he gets fouled on 13.5% on his shot attempts, the lowest of his career. Maybe fewer midrange jumpers and more inside play will increase that, but that also takes more energy, which could affect the rest of his game.
I think he should shoot even more threes per game. It will impact his own game and others positively, increasing spacing, reducing the risk of injury and saving some energy by not banging inside. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid!
Pretty sure AD would be shooting at least 55-60% from the field if he stopped shooting that turnaround fade-away in the mid post he settles for far too much.
That’s just nit picking right now though. He will need to be more efficient against the better teams we will be playing very soon, but it’s been more than sufficient up to this point. And of course he has been the DPoY up to this point, and there’s no one in the same league as he is in that end right now.
Have a feeling LBJ and the team will help AD push for MVP
Lebron being here will hinder that, ala Shaq and Kobe.
Not if LBJ openly campaigns for him and has his mouthpieces like SAS talk up AD MVP
Very doubtfyul. The media chatter is already starting with Lebron as the MVP. If the team continues to play like this I think it goes to Lebron and DPOY goes to AD. _________________ KOBE

So he’s the MVP as well, no?
IMO;
AD, LBJ, GA are all at the top w/ LD lurking in the shadows.
Luka definitely will be in the discussion, as will Harden. Lebron and Davis will likely steal votes from each other. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Lebron is not coming close to winning MVP this year. This 17-3 sample is as good as it gets for him.
I don’t think AD will get it either unless there is a massive push and he becomes more assertive offensively at the end of games.
Giannis/LD/Harden are playing on a different planet right now. A planet our guys are not even on.

With those three, whoever's team has the best record at season's end will take the MVP. Statistically, they are blowing everyone else out of the water.
Honestly, couldn't care less if Bron and AD are in the MVP hunt as long as they have a higher level they go to in the playoffs. Just like last year. Who cares about Giannis' MVP when Kawhi kicked it to the next gear when it really counted. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."
