Our record may only be a result of an easy schedule. We are 1-3 versus good teams with the only win coming in OT. (Loss to Clippers, Toronto, Mavs, barely beat Mavs the first time). December will be tough

No this is why having a 17-2 start was a good thing.

It's a tough month but winning the championship will be tough. We should have smashed the Mavs today. We came out totally flat in the second half and nobody could hit shots to get us out of it.

Check lebron James heat record when the big 3 just formed, and the cavs record when James came back for the first season, we should be grateful with 17-3

December’s record is partially dependent when we get back Avery Bradley.

It showed today against Dallas. Hard to keep these super offensive teams in check when one of your best parameter defenders is injuried

Avery 'our 3rd leading scorer' Bradley

People are forgetting this nugget of information.

We also have wins against Utah and Miami. But yeah, it's true that we have yet to be truly tested.

I still think we're a good team, but just gotten complacent.

Hope this ends up on Dallas forums QFTOS that they ripped hope out of the Laker fans hearts with one game. Lol

Easy schedule so far means we've got a lead built, and can stay above water and win some tough ones and remain top 3 in the West.

It's more what happens in the playoffs when we see the tough teams every other night that will test us.

Staying near the top is important to get that 8th seed matchup. We don't want to fall to 3rd or 4th.

The team is gonna need more toughness and not have a 'play from behind' mindset. There are some talented teams out there, and we need to prove we can punch them in the mouth just as good as they do us, and we're not just taking advantage of an easy schedule.

December is a good opportunity to do that.

Anyone know our record against winning teams so far?

Dallas definitely exposed this because they are the number one offense and have Luka who I think Bradley would guard sometimes.

Denver and Utah don’t have as much fire power but they do have guards like Murray at point guard that have game.

im disappointed af in this loss but lemme say this i do know we are a forreal team. i think we played too many bums that has allowed us to play down to the competition's level and still narrowly escape with wins. its hard to just flip on the switch when you go from playing a bunch of bottom dwellers to playing a formidable opponent!! even tho i think mavs are not that good they are still a winning team!! this tougher month will bring out the best in the lakers i'm sure of that!!

I dunno how you even calculate this. Is it a winning team if they were winning at the time?

Or winning team even if they were a losing team then but a winning team now?

Did people honestly think we woudlnt lose another game?

We sucked and lost. I’ll take that over playing well and losing. Thats always more concerning for me.
