Any chance this guy can guard Kawhi in the playoffs? He’s still pretty athletic despite his age and Kawhi isn’t the quickest guy. It seems like anytime someone tries to take Dwight off the dribble, he ends up forcing the player to take a tough shot, blocking it or forcing a pass.

Yes and AD can hound PG13.

Dwight definitely seems out of the mini-slump he was in.

Yes and AD can hound PG13.

Dwight could switch on to them on switches, but I do not think he can take him throughout a game and stay with him.

Our best bet is Lebron on PG and AD on Kawhi. When Williams come into the game, gotta put Bradley and Caruso on him.

Haha look how hype Dwight and Javale are. That's how you set the tone:

Lakers are blessed with 2 great defensive studs to keep the winning streaks good. If Rondo were his oldself... whoa... this team will be loaded defensively.

Rondo needs to take a trip to Germany ala Kobe while drinking special "wine" ala Lebron.

LOL. Already forgot about Germany treatment.
I think we have also forgotten that once he was also responsible for preventing us to get 6 rings in Kobe's era.

Wondering if the 3 ball was with the coaches blessing. He has been seen practicing that corner 3. If he can make those corner 3s or be willing to stand there and take a few a game, will make him even more valuable.

no coach should have been blessing him with that... he cant even make his free throws and has way more value being in the paint ready to grab an offensive board

It's pretty obvious their best front court right now is Dwight, Bron and AD.

I do not know about that. It depends on the play. You do not want the paint always filled up with someone clogging it up, as there will be more shot contesting when AD and Lebron get in there. If Howard can sometimes set up at the corner 3 it gives the team more spacing and opportunities. I am a huge believer in the power and low post game, but ideally your bigs can do both. I like that Howard is working on this part of his game in practice.

Really liked how we finally were looking for Dwight and were finding him. We should be looking for Dwight 5-6 times a game on rolls and situations where he has his man sealed. Any time Dwight has a good shot under the basket available, get him the ball. Do not do this in the 4th Q where his FT shooting can hurt you, but the other parts of the game, yes. Dwight giving us more points off the bench only helps us.

Yeah, I agree as long as it doesn't become the norm which it absolutely wont I like it if the coaching staff has confidence he can knock it down sometimes.

No question he looks so much better then the beginning of the season as well as far as movement and ability to jump. Early in the season he was shooting a ton of layups since he could hardly get up and now he is dunking tf out the basket instead. I think he is just going to grow into a bigger and bigger force on the offensive end as the season goes. Just keeps exceeding my expectations and I love it.

Opposing teams pray that he will take that shot

anyone else loving all that pick and roll action Dwight running with all sorts of players

Cook, LBJ, Rondo, KCP

Really throwing teams off balance because teams have to worry about his lob threat...there was a play yesterday that Lebron went to the basket and was cutoff by Jovic leaving Dwight for the lob dunk!

Dwight had a really good game last night. He’s been getting beaten backdoor lately while trying to thwart off frontal penetration, but as Lakers fans we should just enjoy Dwight for who he is. 😉

He’s giving us everything we could have asked for. He’s our Chicago Bulls Rodman.

One of the funniest moments ever

Mike Brown was pissed and Bynum was laughing
