The Bucks' second unit stopped Lou Williams. It doesn't matter what the Clippers' starting lineup does. The Bucks Brook Lopez went 2-12 in a blowout win.
Neither KL or PG13 are the type of players who can score enough to win games, especially in a series. They are more like Tim Duncan, who needs a lot of scoring support; they are not Kobe, MJ or even Iverson. Let Leonard and George (try to) get theirs. Just control the rotations so you have a very good defense unit (maybe your top defensive unit) whenever Lou Williams is in the game.
This is actually a good game plan. Add to that that most of PG and KL's shots are low % shots. They seldomly drive to the hoop.
Exactly. 3 streaky jump shooters and an undersized big. That's not championship DNA.
You just described the Warriors.
Not sure if you're serious. Steph, Klay and KD are easily 3 of the best 5 shooters of all time. Klay's worst year from 3 is on par with PG's second best. Draymond at his best is essentially a 7 footer with elite rim protection and perimeter defense. Harrell is ineffective against legitimate size. Comparing the Clippers to the Warriors is misguided.
Thanks for posting. Saved me the time.
Reading challenged as well? The only person to compare the Clippers and Warriors was the chump you quoted. The Warriors were 3 jump shooters and an undersized big.
Not only are my reading comprehension skills top notch, but so is my bs detector. You said “you just described the Warriors” in reference to a post which stated “3 streaky jump shooters and an undersized big”. This is patently false. Steph, KD and Klay are 3 of the greatest shooters of all time and are anything but streaky.
Now, instead of owning your obvious false narrative, you try to shift attention away by making personal attacks against the posters who called out your false narrative, while omitting the key word “streaky” when you re-stated what you posted in a weak attempt to rewrite history.
Unfortunately, you’re out in the open on this. The posts in question are there for everyone to see.
The #Lakers are 11-1 in games decided by single digits & 6-0 in games decided by 6 points or less. They’re 21-3 in large part b/c they’re the best CLOSERS in the NBA. How? Take a deep dive into the film w me!

False. They've played the worst closers in the NBA. Soft schedule!
Just kidding.
I think a player who can help body up on Kawhi during a 7 game series that nobody is thinking about is Dudley. Very savy defender and has the bulk to hold his ground against Kawhi.
I hope Vogel considers running Dudley at him for a few bursts... we cant have Lebron trying to D him up all game as he's way too important to the offense. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi

Awesome. Entirely arbitrary endpoints but... we’re awesome just the same!
I have not watched Clippers since opening night. Is Kawhi really gimpy and hobbled?
I follow a bit on social media and it seems like he has killer 4th quarters. I don’t know, it just feels like the Clippers and Kawhi are trolling the league about this load management/knee management/degenerative issue.

So him shooting with the worst efficiency since the begining of his career would be on purpose ?
Clippers have woken up on the road. After a slow start, they are now looking a lot better. Good for them. Hope to have a healthy Lakers squad on Xmas day to see where we are at.
I do think Clips are playing dead possum in the regular season. I think we can beat them in the playoffs, but I'd rather not face them until the WC. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I’m not saying it’s on purpose. I’m strictly talking about how he load manages both by taking games off or quarters off.
Maybe he’s hurt, but when I see social media where he dominates 4th quarters when they need it I get skeptical of the “He’s hurt” or “He’s not the same player” arguments.
Seems like as Yinoma said they are playing possum. Doesn’t mean we can’t beat them but I think folks that are thinking Kawhi “not healthy” are probably in for a surprise in the playoffs.
Don’t know. Just feels like the clippers are laughing behind the scenes.

I would not want to face the Clips in the playoffs, just being honest. Kawhi is too damn good in the playoffs. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Kawhi looks hobbled. Does not look 100%. That's going off of just watching him run, watching him jump, watching him not extend himself on certain plays, etc. But yet, he's good enough that he doesn't have to be 100% to be effective.
Honestly, it looks like he does save himself for the forth though, or till his team needs him. Fortunately for him, his team hasn't needed him to be the King of the 4th too often.

Thanks. So it seems like he is 80 or 90% Kawhi and then goes into king of the 4th routine because he plays possum/decoy until he is needed.
Seems like the gap changes based on whether the lakers and clippers lose or win their respective games. Overall I still think the lakers maintain an edge because James and Davis are simply better than Kawhi and George, specially in a series.
