Man just realized Caruso only played 10 minutes too. Had a better plus/minus than ROndo.

Rondo -10 and it was obvious.

Glaringly so.

No idea why Rondo got so much time over AC today. Vogel has been great at recognizing AC’s impact and giving him significant fourth quarter minutes, so it was disappointing to see him run with Rondo, who was horrible today, for most of the fourth.

Yeah, maybe the 7 first half TO by LeBron has something to do with it.

Getting him rhythm. There are players you have a quick trigger with, and there are players you have to trust. Danny Green for example. you trust. Rondo, IMO, you trust. Dwight, you trust. These guys are supremely talented role players on this team. Avery Bradley, another guy. Caruso has earned trust as well.

Quick hooks should be reserved for Dudley. Daniels, Cook etc.

I also found that McGee got robbed some of minutes in this one. We should have kept AD at the 4 the entire game, in this one. We were playing better with him there and using size than when we brought Dudley in there with him. We could have brought Dwight in there, or McGee back in for Dwight. AD was shooting his 3s with comfort and rhythm. Instead of a lower impact AD/Dudley 5-4 unit, could have gone with Dwight/AD or McGee/AD.

Just nitpicking though.

Dude just came back from injury. Frank knows how crucial his play making is to the team to relieve Lebron for few minutes in the game. Rondo was just missing his shots last game. Previous his injury, he was hot with his shots. Give him some time.

The next step in Coach Vogel's growth will come when he benches Lebron's sorry a$$ for the last possession of the game when the Lakers are leading by 3.

"We didn't play a great game tonight," Vogel said after his team coughed up a season-high 22 turnovers and shot just 5-for-31 on 3-pointers. No other team has Dwight, AD, Lebron, Caruso, Green, Bradley to throw at teams. 6 guys there that defend so well when it is lockdown mode. In Dwight and AD we may have two of the best defensive bigs of this era, and Caruso-Green-Bradley move their feet and know how to defend. Lebron is probably the worst defender of that group and that is crazy because when he is engaged he is a quality defender.

He's risen to the challenge of being the leader of this team. When he talks about the team becoming a family quickly, a lot of that can be attributed to him.

Sadly, DG is looking like the worst signing of the summer right now. Let's see if he can redeem himself when it really counts in the postseason.
