I know it’s probably logistically impossible for you GT, but how awesome would it be to have a breakdown from you after each game of what you thought was working, what didn’t work, what adjustments were made, and just your overall thoughts on the game, the players, and the coaching. Also, any thoughts you have about what changes you’d like to see the team make. Ideally, it would be a video showing exactly what you’re talking about, but anything would be great (podcast, written, whatever). I know I’d really look forward to that.

Also, it would be really cool if you did video podcasts instead of the audio only. It would be far more interesting watching you guys discuss the team and you could occasionally add graphics or a whiteboard to help reinforce what you are talking about.

Don’t take any of this as a criticism, it’s not. I love what you do and we’re so lucky as Laker fans to have your expertise. I’m just dreaming of what could be.

I'd love all of that, I just need to grow my team beyond what it is in order to do that.

Thanks Pete! I've been showing my Teens these videos to help them understand the game better...they're excellent always!

And anyone else notice how AD isn't falling down nearly as often as he was to start the season?

Just watched this video, I thought it was pretty encouraging. Losing because of sub-30% shooting on wide open 3s as well as miscommunication (early on in the season) are two things that should hopefully not hold true for an entire 7 game series

Ii like this team a lot

I think Vogel likes to throw these lesser experienced players into the fire to test their mettle
And the Vets making mistakes too brings this team together
They know they are built for the big show and won't give up improving as a team.

Imagine everyone staying healthy with a 5 or 6 game lead at seasons end.
1st place West and possibly in league
The amount of cohesion this team will have could make them Much stronger.

Thanks for the breakdown GT. That AD missed 3, Javale rebound, pass to Green who chucked up a shot as if 1 second was left (when I believe there was 12) pretty much summed up that second half...along with the LBJ one leg 3 attempt.

They clean up some of the things you pointed out, it's a W.

^^This is a disturbing trend imo. We will see how they counter it in the 2nd half.

Western conference teams are watching, it has neutralized the Lakers to a degree and it starts with Lebron getting bothered by this type of defender and accentuated by lack of ball handlers and creators on the team.

Vogel should just show these three clips to the team before every single game until the 2020 Larry O’Brien Trophy is sitting in Jeanie’s office

Kuzma needs to stop sitting still in the corner and doing nothing. He needs to cut, jab step, shot fake, go to the hole hard looking to dunk every single time. Channel his inner Dwayne Wade. On defense he needs to move his feet and rebound hard.

Punish TWO GUARDS and THREES

Kuzma can dominate twos and threes on both offense and defense

If he just moves his feet, challenges them on defense, and out rebounds them Lakers will be fine

No reason at all why Kuzma should not be out rebounding Patrick Beverly

NO REBOUNDS
NO RINGS

He wilts like a flower against fours and fives

Rondo needs to physically punish people the same way he punished Chris Paul during the Oklahoma game

Time

GT. Thanks for standing up for Lakers Nation with all the stupid Pelicans bloggers. All they do is talk (bleep) about the Lakers and retweet anything negative about the Lakers. MasonG is a moron troll who hates trolls. His buddy FeartheB retweeted a very good basketball twitter site on how Lebron illegally tapped an in bound to himself against the Nets. The funny things is that the same informative twitter handle posted about 15 amazing things from the Lakers during that same game, and not one of those things were retweeted. They are a petty, small group of people, with low followers and inferiority complexes. Thank You GT for keeping them in check. Keep up the good work with Anthony and Darius!

That 2010 Laker team highlights literally brought a tear to my eye. You can see how hard the team fought to get that victory against the hated Celtics. MWP with the dagger three. Fish started hitting his threes. Kobe was Kobe. Fighting tooth and nail for rebounds and put backs. That’s what it takes. Not sure if this team has that yet.

The Kareem Riley clip was classic too. Riley was a hell of a coach and knew what bending the team rules for Kareem in the finals would do for him.

Kobe shooting jumpers with a broken finger

Artest, Gasol, and Odom crashing the boards against that pathetic Doc Rivers Zone defense

Gasol stepping up reminded me of Kareem stepping up

Both times the more talented, skilled big man finally battled back against the big bully.

But it was Riley who thought up perhaps his most famous motivational speech, delivered before Game 2 of the 1985 finals against the Celtics. The Lakers had lost by 34 points in the Memorial Day Massacre at the Boston Garden, and Riley shared with the team some advice his late father had once told him: “Somewhere, someplace, sometime, you’re going to have to plant your feet, make a stand and kick some (tail).”

The Flippers are the dirty cheap shot bullies this time.

Look how they went after Butler

Guaranteed they are going to do that to AD and Bron

Just like McHale going after Rambis

Detroit going after Magic and Worthy

If the Lakers want to win the title they are going to have to stand up to the Bullies
