What I look for in any trade scenario is balance. The Lakers are weighing so many factors as the trade deadline rapidly approaches. And you've laid them out well. On one hand, Kuz has always been streaky, and what can't be predicted is if he's on one of those streaks, or have we found how to best utilize this "rhythm" player?

On the other hand, there's no certainty that Collison will select this particular LA team, and the lack of a reliable third scorer will surely be an issue if Kuzma doesn't fill that need.

What would I, the lamest GM in the league, do? Keep him. pursue DC, and, if rumors are anywhere near credible, as a contingency plan, pursue Augustin (he'd be a good ball handling addition)

Thanks EP!

should a team on an eight-game winning streak and a Western Conference-leading 32-7 record be looking to make significant changes?

NBA Radio (Sirius) was saying same thing about OKC tonight. Things are going so well with the current roster, no you do not trade CP3. Same thing for Lakers, you let this ride out with the current roster.
