Brother in law and myself cant stand him anymore. Always the same commentary at the worst times. "Shorten your dribble" Shut up! Cant believe the original commentator missed it. And Bill is horrible too because he always sounds like a whining baby when the Lakers lead gets down to single digits. Always raises his pitch like a kid throwing a tantrum. To think we had some better ones since Chick passed on.

You and your Brother In Law need to drop to the level of the ball.

On the Lakers Basketball Network....

Well see Lanny that's the difference between a rebounder, and someone who gets rebounds.

On the Lakers... Basketball Network...

Guy's brother in law is O C

out

of

control

on the Lakers

Stu Lantz is a treasure and a great teacher if you listen closely. He doesn't yak too much and sets a relaxing tone with his announcing. I was raised on Chick and Stu not having him on the broadcast would be a crime.

The problem with Stu is that he always makes up some stupid ****.

"Davis drove right around the defender and then he said to the help defender 'how do you like them apples?'"

No Stu - he didn't say any of that.

Then you also have ol' Billy consistently dead wrong at least 1-2 times every quarter on plays that are pretty blatantly obvious. That doesn't even count the times Stu disagrees with him and then proceeds to say exactly what he just disagreed with in slightly different wording

It can def. get much worse when listening to other broadcasters but both of these guys need to call it a career sometime soon. The Lakers need some new voices and energy, it just feels so lethargic and tiresome most nights with both of them.

At the end of the day i'm cool with both though because Stu does throw out some good knowledge sometimes and i'm not sure the replacements would even be better.
