True to their Jekyll and Hyde nature, the Lakers came out focused against a strong oppenent, after losing to a weak one. They did most things right for most of the game; they played good defense, they got their offense going, shared the ball, kept the turnovers in check.
The one thing they didn't do right was take care of the boards at home. Despite shooting just 34% for the game, the Spurs stayed in it and eventually won due to their 16 offensive rebounds. The Lakers managed only 5.
Once again the Lakers went to overtime and once again they fell flat. They scored two quick hoops, but a 12-2 run by San Anotonio to finish the extra period finished the Lakers.
Kobe Bryant finished with 31 points on 13-25 shots, with 6 rebounds, 7 assits, 12 hv, .92 prod, and 30 eff.
Lamar Odom had 18 points with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 17 hv, .74 prod, and 23 eff.
Andrew Bynum scored 14 and grabbed 11 rebounds with 3 assists, a block, 13 hv, .62 prod, and 17 eff.
Vladimir Radmanovic, starting for injured Luke Walton, scored 13 with 9 rebounds, 10 hv, .66 prod, 18 eff, and a team low -12.
A big game for Tim Duncan with 21 points on 10-23 shots, 14 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 blocks, a steal, 24 hv, 1.05 prod, and 31 eff.
Manu Ginobili was his main support with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, a block, 10 hv, 1.13 prod, 19 eff.
