Vanessa said her and the children would like collect and read them from my understanding

Quote:
“It will have been a week. We have contractually obligated events that are moving in,” he said. “Vanessa had reached out to us and said, ‘Our family would like the items out there.’ So we’re going to catalog every one of them. By that I mean, T-shirts, letters, basketballs, stuffed animals, toys. We’re going to put those in specially made containers and we’re going to ship them to the family.”

I had to go downtown on business, so I stopped by Staples. Quite an outpouring.

Most of the messages were actually things people wrote on the walkways rather than on items that could be boxed. Maybe they'll take photographs of those.

I actually wrote on a message on a Kobe plaque that I had, and placed it behind a basketball that someone else had left with a long message written on it. It was really surreal how much memorabilia of all kinds people left behind.

Kobe's Memorial by the numbers:

1353 basketballs, around 25000 candles, 5000 letters, 500 stuffed animals, 350 shoes, 14 banners and 40 yard trash been of flowers. Insane

I am guessing we will see many of these items auctioned off for charity

Hard to see. Knowing some of those balls were cherished memories.. some signed by Kobe possibly and others..

Still just unbelievable he has gone

Mamba academy should have a Kobe memorial museum of some sort and replica of all his accolades and all these items.
