As it should be. Great decision.

Awesome!

I had mixed feelings on the logo change but this is a great way for the NBA to honor his legacy. Well done, Adam!

Great call by Adam Silver and very fitting for a star amongst stars! It should be the Kobe Bryant Award

I had hoped that they would pick something meaningful but still a great honor.

That is pretty awesome. It's fitting. Kobe has 4 all star MVP's. I watched Kobe's musecage video about the all-star game/weekend.

Around the 1:30 mark you hear him talk about the players that come ready to compete for that all-star MVP. And how he used his first all star game in 1998 to study Jordan.

I hope they play this video before the game. I know if I was a player in that game I would badly want that trophy now.

Just as I recommended when they changed the silly rules of the game lol

Simple and to the point.

Much deserved. He was the MVP amongst all stars.

Unless it is the logo change, nothing else will be meaningful.

Should have just done this instead of the confusing new scoring rules, which i still don't understand.

This means Kobe Forever!

I'm glad to have seen him for his entire basketball career,
some stories have a tragic ending. this is one of those stories.
Still I witnessed greatness and the MVP seems right to be named
after a player that dedicated his soul to this game.

Only fitting if Lebron or AD wins it first.

I have a feeling players will actually compete on Sunday because they want that KB trophy.

I think LeBron and Giannis will go off.

I wouldn't mind if Giannis, Tatum, Dame (if he wasn't injured), Trae, etc. won it. They seem to be students of Kobe either literally or figuratively.
