The Rockets are interested in signing Markieff and/or rehabbing Demarcus? I don’t get it, but I’m sure Morey will be praised as a genius for his action and/or inaction in either case. I have no clue how he has kept his job.

The Rocketts were dumping people to save money, so picking up Morris (at full price) or Cousins (at a discount) seems counter-productive to their recent actions, but to spite the Lakers teams will go to great lengths, so who knows, also seems like Cuban or the Spurs would pull something like this..

Come to think of it, all three Texas teams are jealous of the Lakers...!

The money wasn't the issue for the Rockets - it was the fit - didn't view Markieff as a switchable player defensively
