This isn't a memorial. It's a celebration of life. It's to celebrate the fact that he lived.

If anyone has a code to purchase and for some reason can’t go, I would greatly appreciate it. Sooner the better since I’m in SF and flights are not cheap last minute

Got waitlisted and pretty bummed out because I've been working away about 12 hours a day for the past few weeks on an immensely intricate tribute artwork that I'd been planning to take with me. Part of me wanted to slow down my schedule (to have it done before Monday) and ease back know but I knew Kobe would have none of that, so I kept pushing through.

The next morning, I got taken off the waitlist and was able to score two mid level tickets (I really believe this was an assist from Kobe from up above) and it's my determined dream to be able to present it to the organization/fans/world somehow. If anyone can help me bring this goal to fruition, you can be my plus one (but send me a PM please).

Very well done. I am so glad you are going to be there as you get it.

That sucks...when I got off the waitlist I got an error code like 20 times on various seats before one pair finally worked. I didn't know they're still releasing tickets / taking people off the waitlist. I wonder how the distribution all works.

The website wouldn’t let you buy a pair if it left a single seat next to you open. Guys keep trying eventually they probably will open this restriction and sell off the remaining seats and likely single seats will be available too

Still waitlisted and feeling like I'm back at Glendale Community College circa 2000. Except I'm not expecting a financial aid check to put rims and an alpine stereo on my car with...I mean buy books with.

Anyways, still waiting.

Looking for someone with 2 tickets to the memorial that is trying to offload one of them. Only interested in going with someone as their +1 being that tickets are non-transferable.

I was wondering this too. Are people wearing funeral attire or Lakers gear?

I tried again yesterday around 10am and was able to get tickets! The map showed almost a quarter of the PR section still available so who knows how the distribution works.

I would think Laker jerseys are OK, which is what I was planning on.

My mother-in-law said that she just got a code right now and that there are only single seats available and even then she can't buy tickets?
