i think zions overrated thats just me tho. he also has no chill with the crazy dunks... trying to put on a dunk contest at every given opportunity (practice, pregame, in-game) isnt conductive to a long career imo. _________________ Kobe Forever |

He’s not the first kid to play that way as a rookie. |

His nose for the ball is absolutely insane under the basket and his second jump might be the greatest in NBA history. He can also run the court extremely well and has underrated passing abilities which will only get much better with time. He also already looks tremendously better then anyone expected shooting from the outside.
He's had 12 terrific games and 1 solid game out of 13 total games played as a rookie.. That's pretty insane.
What you see now with him is his absolute bottom, he's not even 20 yet.. If he stays healthy he'll be the best player in the NBA imo. He's an absolute once in a generation type of talent. The injury concerns are real though and that's the only reason i'd have to really think about taking him but outside of that it's an absolute no brainer. |

He's an athletic freak in every way, not just jumping. He has elite touch and his baseline handle and passing skills make him dangerous enough already without a jumper. He's going to live at the line and at the rim like Giannis.
If he's as smart as he seems and as hardworking as he's reported to be, he should continue to add to his game, which will make him even more lethal. _________________ Under New Management |

He has that Shaq/Wilt/young Lebron freakish combo of athleticism and power that's generational by itself. _________________ Under New Management |

Yeah as much as I like BI he’s the worst of that group
I’m taking Zion out of that group, he’s pretty much already proved to me he’ll be a top 5-10 player barring injury. Tatum not far behind though _________________ #18 next... |

i disagree, Zion's body type isn't belonging in this era of NBA. he may very well be Charles Barkley like had he played in the 80's or 90's. his short and chubby, too much muscle on a compact body build != prototypical NBA star nowadays. i can also see weight issue going to catch up with him if he is not careful.
of that group, i'd pick Tatum hands down. |

the lack of respect for trae is pretty surprising imo. for a guy who embodies the modern game. deep range, great handle, great passer, big time scorer just an offensive beast. will be easy to build around.. _________________ Kobe Forever |

The defense is so, so bad, and given his physical limitations, there's not much he can do on that end. _________________ Under New Management |

Zion is much more athletic than Barkley was at his athletic peak in Philly. _________________ Under New Management |

I think most acknowledge he is looking to be an elite player but he's simply not at the level of the most elite young players.
The biggest issue I see is his team's success. We are seeing Luka pull the Mavs into the playoffs when nearly everyone thought they didnt have a chance. Zion has clearly elevated the Pelicans to another level when he returned. But the Hawks are one of the worst teams in the NBA. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

Sad but true. Right now, he’s at the Isaiah Thomas level on defense. He can get better than that, but it’s hard to imagine him ever becoming just a below average defender. |

I hope his knees can take that stress. |

Health is a legitimate concern with Zion, but you just never know about this stuff. Any of these guys could see a Derrick Rose scenario. |
