Caruso is an animal. From a bald eagle to a goat...dude is a beast. With sprangs in his genes and with dude always looking to body someone, Alex reminds me of a kangaroo.

#Cangaruso (fitting for another "random" drug test tbh...but kid partied too hard and put up an egg last night, so the league spared him haha. At least you still yolked, so Flex on em Alex!)

Happy gday #sprangkang

I happened to stop by the Lakers team store today, and it cracked me up that the only jersey sold out was Caruso's. People love that dude.

A lot of games actually become more ordered when he subs in for Brawn. I think he's beyond getting the standard average white dude appreciation from the likewise fans. His produccion is greater than his statline. There are stars that don't impact a game in a handful of minutes like AC. If he can develop a more fluid form with a quicker release and better accuracy from deep over the summer, watch out.

#Cangaruso is starting tonight!

Trudell: Starters at Memphis: Alex Caruso, Avery Bradley, LeBron, AD and JaVale McGee.

Danny Green (sore hip) is out. This is Caruso’s first start this season.

KCP should have started over Caruso tonight. Lebron was looking for shooters to kick to bail him out but there were none. Caruso’s energy was needed off the bench.

He makes so many winning plays - the box out on Giannis, the rebounds in traffic, the close outs, the screens.

I guarantee if that was Kuzma in that position, Giannis is stealing that rebound

I like how they're allowing the Accountant and AB to bring up the ball. Good practice to give LeBron some rest even in terms of dribbling up court.

I thought he and Kuzma had key moments tonight. Good to see the 2 young guys playing some impact minutes.

Caruso typical Caruso. Kuz with great defense on Middleton to allow us to catch up in the 2nd.

Long term, I wonder if he becomes our 1980's version of Kurt Rambis: Grinder with some skills, willing to do the dirty work, often against starters and elite players. Rambis had some skills shooting from the perimeter too.

Alex Caruso says the amount of attention he got at the beginning of the year was ‘annoying’ at times

Quote:
The resident Lakers meme king didn’t always enjoy the extra attention he got, but Alex Caruso also appreciates all the benefits for playing for the purple and gold.

I was in and out so I only saw part of the game but I didn’t see much Caruso time. He looked good when I was able to see him.

This is one game I was happy he played fewer than 20 minutes. Sore hamstrings are not worth mucking around with

Great game too
