I'm not afraid of the Spurs, their team is really bad this year. Would be great to sweep them.

I'm afraid of Dame, though. Dude can win playoff games by himself.

And what do you think about that probable Clippers-Mavericks in the first round? Luka already has experience in Europe winning championships, he can be really tough to face in the first round.

Kawhi. George. Beverly. He will be humbled.

I remember having Kobe and never being afraid of individual players, because we had the baddest (bleep) on the planet.

If LeBron is in killer mode, which he will be cause it's the playoffs, it won't matter.

Whole ass teams are cause for concern, not lone guns like Lillard. We got LeBron to match output.

That man could send the team home in the first round.

What makes you say that?

LOL, Houston sit out Westbrick and Gordon and got a L from The hornets. Harden got a cuádruple double: points, assists, rebounds & turnovers in over 40 mins of play

Cleveland beat Denver. Utah is now only one game behind them for the number 3 seed.

I have a feeling that rockets will try their best to be 4th or 5th seed so ha they can avoid clippers until finals. They will rather play Lakers.

The way the Pelicans have been playing lately I don't think any team wants them to make the playoffs and have to play them in the first round. They'd be a tough out.

Win tomorrow and I think that basically locks up the 1 seed.

Lose tomorrow and the Clipper will still have hope they can catch the Lakers.

Fight for the 8th spot

32 losses: Grizz
35 losses: Spurs, Kings
36 losses: Pelicans
37 losses: Blazers

Big win by Luke over Portlandia.

I want a first round sweep so we can have a little rest before the 2nd round.
My ranking in order of preference is:

Grizz
Kings
Pelicans
Spurs/Blazers (Nurkic is coming back on the 15th)

Maybe OKC can catch HOU and push them down to the 6th seed. That way we can still have HOU and LAC run into one another before we play either one.

Don't want to have to play both of them this playoffs.

We would toast Houston, but yeah having them on the other side along with the Clips and the Nugs would be nice. Ideally I would want to play the Griz, Utah, the Clips, then whom ever the East craps out.

If the Blazers lose against Memphis next week I think they will be out of options for the playoffs.

Portland looks like they're out. Sacramento has a better path to the 8th seed than the Blazers.

The Lakers will hopefully get the win, but the big thing for the Lakers is that they can avoid the Clippers until the WCF.

I'm still holding out hope for somebody else knocking the Clippers off in the 1st or 2nd round.
I hope the current 2-7 matchup between Clips and Mavs holds. Don't expect Mavs to beat them. But they're a tougher first round matchup than OKC.

Seeing the Clips in the WCF seems most likely win or lose. Teams are sitting comfortably in the #1 and #2 seeds. And more importantly playing like it.

The rest will be fun to watch shuffle the rest of the season. Denver is mysteriously folding, Houston is struggling and the rest of the 3-7 seeds are starting to find a groove. The battle for 8th should be fun to watch. Whichever team earns it will need to be playing at a high level and not be as easy an out as some are thinking.

Lakers just need to keep focused and win. Today would give them a 6 game cushion with 20 to go. That should be enough if they don’t try to get too cute with those final games. Win and earn HCA , then rest.

I really don’t care what order they play teams in the playoffs. Any team that survives a round will have earned it for a reason. Going to be so damn entertaining in the West.

I missed the score on the Nugget game. Apparently Cleveland has a promotion when Denver comes to town where selected Cavs fans try to eat more McNuggets than points scored by the Nuggets.
