The Cucks are currently 53-10 while we stand at 49-13. I've read some posters mention resting our guys from this point forward.
Should we make a run at securing the first spot, especially with Giannis currently out?
Or are we better off resting our guys and avoiding potential injuries and fatigue?
Thoughts? _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi. |

We should play it honest until the second Utah game. We should be comfortable that we're gonna get HCA over Denver before letting go of the rope.
With Giannis going down a few games, the Bucks might change gears as well too. Their remaining schedule is no cakewalk, either. |

Nope. Nothing left to prove. MVP would be nice for Lebron, but it’s not the real award. Chip culture is everything. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant |

The only reason I would even care for the best record is to secure HCA throughout the entirety of the post season, including finals. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi. |

Today's game:
AD 34 min
LBJ 35 min
They are not being overused. Make a push with the Greek out and see what happens. |

I agree 100%. I think after that Utah game we can still win the majority of those games with AD or Lebron sitting. There is no doubt also that even if Giannis comes back after missing only 2 games they are going to want to be a bit more cautious with him to end the season as well.
They're schedule looks much more difficult then ours to end the season as well. |

If the season ended and the Bucks and Lakers were tied who would get the tie break? |

Conference record, so the bucks would have the tie breaker now
Sorry, it could be record against the other conference , so we have Toronto to play
Man, wish we didn’t lose that mem game

Conference record, so the bucks would have the tie breaker now |
That's right.
This is a detailed breakdown -
1. Head to head
What team(s) have the best records playing against each other? If it’s a two-team tiebreaker, this is easy to figure out. If this is a three-team tiebreaker or more, then add up the record of every team against each other to determine the overall winner. Note that this will go by winning percentage, not total wins.
2. Better division record
If the teams that are tied are in the same division, then which one has the best record against their division? This only applies if all teams involved are in the same division.
3. Better conference record
If the teams are still tied, then what team has the best record against their own conference?
4. Other tiebreakers
It’s almost impossible to get past the first three tiebreakers — they will solve 99 percent of dilemmas. However, the NBA still has contingency plans to break a tie between two teams. First, they would examine the record against only playoff teams in their own conference, and then they would do the same thing with the opposite conference. (In a multiple team tiebreaker, skip the opposite conference tiebreak and go straight to the final one.) If that still doesn’t work, the final tiebreak is determined by looking at point differentials for each team — total points scored minus total points allowed.
In theory, you could still be tied at the end of all this. In practice, that has never happened, and it likely never will. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi. |

Quote: | 1. Better record in head-to-head games
2. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
3. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
4. Higher winning percentage in conference games
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
6. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
7. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed |
So the first thing they'll check is whether they win more games in their own conference _________________ I was an atheist, until I knew Kobe.

2000-2001 Lakers and the sixters had the same record, but Lakers got the HC due to better winning percentage against the east |

Bucks lost to the Suns today getting outscored by 19 in the first Quarter (47-28)..
So they are 53-11...
If Giannas misses much more time, it might be doable...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”

I'd start resting Bron and AD again all sub-.500 teams, but stagger it. Have them play against playoff teams to keep them in the zone. But we can definitely afford to (and need to) have some schedule to give them consistent rest from now until the playoffs since the #1 seed in the West is all but wrapped up. Especially Lebron - I've seen enough to know we need THIS version of him in May/June, and to get that, we need him as healthy and rested as can be. |

We need to rest our guys in the three games in three nights stretch. Give the game away against the Clippers on the third night of the back 2 back 2 back. Rest 5 or 6 rotation players that game. |

I would have them rest against the Bulls and the Warriors, and then have them play against the Clippers.
This way, it can be 2-2, and these foos can shut up _________________ The Gospel in a nutshell: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 |
