Does anyone know the cross-conference (i.e. Bucks/Lakers) tiebreaker rules? It seems as though after head to head, it's record against OWN conference, meaning Milwaukee's record against the East vs. the Lakers' record against the West.

We're currently two losses back and Giannis is out for the time being.

http://www.espn.com/nba/playoffs/matchups

At the bottom.

Quote:
In the event two or more teams are tied in the standings, a series of tiebreakers are applied to determine which team receives the higher seeding.

Two-Team Tiebreaker:
1. Better record in head-to-head games
2. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)
3. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
4. Higher winning percentage in conference games
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
6. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
7. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed

Unfortunately #4, might do us in, if by chance they are tied.

Fight for the 1st spot in the West
1. Lakers

Fight for the 8th spot
32 losses: Grizz
36 losses: Pelicans, Kings, Spurs
37 losses: Blazers

Rest of the playoffs spots
2. Clippers - 20 Ls
3. Nuggets - 21 Ls
4. Jazz - 22 Ls
5. Thunder - 24 Ls
6. Rockets - 24 Ls
7. Mavs - 26 Ls

I can't believe the Thunder overtook the Rockets
Ideal standings for me at this point...
Jazz and Nuggets flip. Rockets and Mavs flip. Just for the fun of the Clippers having to play the Rockets in round 1 and then if they win, play the Jazz in round 2.

Please keep the Pels and Blazers away from the 8th! ðŸĪŠ

Dallas is an interesting team. They have the third best point differential in the conference but they're currently sitting at 7th seed.

Stat of the Day #141!

Now that the Bucks have lost 3 games in a row, only one team has avoided such a streak this season.

Not the Lakers, not the Clippers, not the Raptors or Celtics or Heat.

It's the Dallas Mavericks, ready to surprise a contender in April.

Coach is pretty good at making adjustments.

I'd be shocked if they made it out the first if they play the Clippers. Hmm, but they might have a chance against the Nuggets.

Other important stats:
13-18 against teams over .500
6-16 in games within 5 points

They would need Porky and Luka to be super saiyans that series.

Memphis is going to get JJJ and Justice Winslow soon? I don't see the other teams catching them.
