Few songs move me every time I hear them, but "Lean on Me" definitely does.

RIP

Incredible voice. Effortlessly cool. Great catalog. You’ll be missed, Bill.

Great article on Withers from 2015: Rolling Stone

Questlove: "Bill Withers is the closest thing black people have to a Bruce Springsteen."

I remember him and his stormy relationship with Denise Nicholas. I have him in my Pandora play list. In his memory I'll be playing him today. He now has someone you can lean on. RIP

I believe it's still the only song ever to reach #1 in two different decades.

The man was 31 years old, had been a stutterer as a young man, had just started teaching himself guitar, was working on an assembly line, walked into a recording studio and dropped "Ain't No Sunshine" like it was nothing. King.

One of the best songs in existence Period!

Look at the beauty in this man's soul

Tell your girlfriend that just to look at her tells you the day will be Lovely

So so simple and a feeling we all seek and honor

*I sing this song to myself in the mirror /s

Two completely different interpretations of a classic.

Jim James - "Lean on Me"

So Hyang - "Lean on Me"
