Hey All,
Latest @BleacherReport Could LeBron James' Lakers Be Franchise's Best Team Since 2000? --- Hoping the season resumes, so we can see if this squad can force itself into the conversation...

I look at the Kobe/Shaq and Kobe/Pau era teams and compare to this squad - obviously we need the season back and for LBJ/AD to win a title to start the conversation in earnest.

That 2001 team went 16-1 in the playoffs. They would absolutely destroy this current Laker team. |

I'll say I didn't like the headline - which I didn't write.
The article basically says 2001 was the best team of that era - so to me the headline should say since 2001. Is what it is.
But Lakers, if they were to win, would be in the discussion re Kobe/Pau era. Obviously back-to-back rings would make Laker nation pretty happy to have that debate on equal footing! _________________ Salary Cap Strategist and Columnist at Bleacher Report and on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/EricPincus |

LOL, Just as I was going to give you hard time about the headline, Eric - you come up with an exact argument I had Including Kobe/Pau team being close to this one, assuming this team ends up holding _________________ Major bullets dodged: DH12 - twice, LMA, Melo - twice, PG-13, DeMar DeRozan. Hit jackpot with DH-12 at the right time |
