So none of our Lakers headed out in that scenario have an automatic no-trade clause this summer because of the structure of previous deals? |

Lakers need to bring home a championship this season because next season is gonna be a tough ride especially if Beal gets moved to BRK and Curry and Thompson play at a high level, I could also see Minny trying to trade for DLO’s close friend in Devin Booker and they would be a contender with KAT/DLO and Booker. |

Just like everyone knew AD wanted LA, Beal wants Brooklyn. Zero question about it and BK has the assets to make helluva offer.
Lavert, Dinwiddie, Allen, Multiple 1sts should and will get it done. Ibaka also ends up in BK for the MLE. It's happening. Jordan, Ibaka, Durant, Beal, Kyrie |

Brooklyn would be pretty formidable with Beal. I also think Dallas could be a scary team in the future if they find one more all-star next to Luka and Porzingis. Clippers and Bucks will still be there. Splash brothers coming back. Next season will be nuts. Hopefully we can add one more piece. |

Thoughts on the Lakers FO going after Fred VanVleet? |

How would we get him? He's a clutch PG with Finals experience, a reasonable contract and will be a free agent. I don't see how we can afford him. Or who on our team Toronto would be interested in. |

Or not care about what fans think about how he got his titles but instead try and stack them up. |

Tristan Thompson is a FA and was putting up some nice stats this season if by any chance something happens and Dwight bolts in FA he would be a very solid back up plan I also know that LeBron seems to be really close with his former Cavs teammates. |

I don't see that happening. Thompson is going to want more than the mle. Cleveland's going to try to work out a sign-and-trade deal for him during the summer. So to get him we would need to find a player or assets that Cleveland wanted, plus make a long-term commitment to Thompson. |

The good thing about our situation is that players want to play for us especially now that we are contending for titles, you never know who might come here and is willing to take a significant paycut to do so, that falls in line with Thompson and other 2nd and 3rd tier FAs. |

TT is an average player and a UFA. who is paying anything for a S&T?
what Cleveland wants is not important as the guy is UFA |

Thompson is an unrestricted free agent. However the free-agent Market is going to be tight. So that does open up opportunities for teams to do a sign-and-trade.
It also wouldn't shock me to see Cleveland re-sign him. The main point is I don't expect him to be available as a cheap, short-term free agent, a la Dwight Howard. |

Thompson might not be an all star but he’s considered a good role player he also can impact games with his physical and rim-protection game. like I said he would be a solid get assuming Dwight walks in FA. |

I don't have the numbers in front of me at the moment, but our package could include something like Kuzma, THT, KCP and 2021 1st while also taking on some unwanted contracts. |

If the cap drops then the FA market will be tight as I could see owners reluctant to spend for talent that isn’t in the top tier. I would expect most players with an option to opt in. I haven’t looked at the FA list but we might be able to do better than TT with the MLE. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

We would be about $8 mil short of trading for Hield, let alone adding other unwanted contracts. He is due $26.4 mil, I don’t know that I would want to pay him that kind of money for 4 years. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I can't imagine what we could offer Toronto that would make them trade him. |
