The NBA is going to be pissed if any of the top 2 on each team get injured that night. Way to ease into it lol.
ESPN hyping up the Clippers as usual.

That’s an insanely tough schedule for eight games. How does it stack up against the other teams’? |

So Lakers get all potential playoff teams? Right, makes sense. |

I think the league tried to mimic what the rest of the normal regular season schedule was. |

They really didn't need an hour long show for this, or a show at all...
I really hate ESPN. |

Tough schedule don't mean (bleep) anymore....basically win just 3 outta the 8 and we secure the West....don't make a difference if catch the Bucks if playing in empty gyms and no travel. _________________ MAMBA OUT

At least all of the games are on TNT or ESPN except last game with Kings.
Not a horrible schedule. Only one back to back. No Bucks, Celtics or 76'ers.
Plenty of opportunities to integrate new guys. _________________ Darvin Ham is an idiot! |

Awww yea, basketball's back. If I remember correctly, the season halted right after we've just beaten the other two top teams in the league, Bucks and Clips. I'm very surprised and very excited this season was not lost. I think the Lakers are a team of destiny. They are destined to win it all this year. Not even a pandemic could alter their destiny. It's time for them to fulfill that destiny. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

The games are from the remaining schedule pre-Covid for the most part. Pelicans had a front loaded schedule and it was already a big topic that they could come back.

Yeah, I meant it half jokingly.
We will see what happens. Pels have the soft schedule, but they also had some unexpected losses to bad teams so we will see what happens.
I think Memphis can probably hang on to a play in game. |

Lakers only need four wins to lock up the #1 seed, three if they beat the Clippers in the opener. Home court is meaningless, so no reason to care how the Bucks or Raps finish.
The schedule doesn’t much matter for them. |

And actually the more teams that get better records than the Lakers in the East the best as Lakers will get a slight better draft pick. |

Unless they make big changes anyway, it doesn't really matter who has a better seed when it comes to Lakers vs. Bucks since HCA will not really matter. |
