No way football happens

At least football can reduce skin to skin contact with the padding they wear and face mask shields. Not eliminate but reduce. Basketball is fully open faced contact and it would be difficult reducing that. Masks would help but I doubt that they will be worn.

Skin to skin contact isn't really the issue.

Can’t say I blame him. But this further proves this whole restart is a joke. Even if we won, or whoever, no one is ever going to give this year validity. Just scrap this crap.

So do we wait until there's an effective therapeutic or vaccine?

That's a good point. For all we know, it might be several years until they have an effective vaccine. Ultimately, if no vaccine or treatment comes quickly, people will adjust and then make decisions based on their assessment of the risk-reward.

No AIDS vaccine in over 25 years.

HIV directly infects the immune system as its primary means of infection, Coronavirus doesn't. They're very different viruses

The reason we don't have vaccine for HIV yet is because the virus mutates too quickly. Don't think we will ever find a vaccine for HIV. Coronavirus is different. It doesn't mutate that quickly.
