Really want Larry Nance to come back to the Lakers and I’m not saying that because he is praising a Laker he is just a very likable guy who plays with effort every game.
Anthony Davis is considered day-to-day after being poked in the right eye during today’s scrimmage, Lakers coach Frank Vogel tells Dave McMenamin of ESPN (Twitter link).
And we gotta break the bank to keep him. If AD leaves and LBJ retires in 2 years after his contract expires we quickly become a 10 win team minus the lotto picks (owed to Pelicans).

He is so fragile. Not calling him soft. Or a wus. Just that he has to leave games more than the average player. Especially when compared to other big men. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

The last time I felt this scared every time a player stepped onto the court was with Bynum... _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I don't disagree. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
Any player would've had to exit the game if they got raked in the eye like that. The eye still looked terrible when he sat on the bench. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. He got poked in the eye what do you want him to do

Exactly, and in a scrimmage! Plus he is our investment. Everything he does should get checked out. He’s one of the most agile big to have ever grace the court. Yes you’re gonna have to make sure he’s always okay. He’s not just pounding the post all day like some 90’s power forwards.
Sorry he’s not Ronnie Lott out there. Cutting off his pinky finger so he could return to a Football game. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

I would seriously consider sitting him until the playoffs start. It seems inevitable this guy will get injured.

There's a huge gap between Ronnie Lott and leaving games far more often than the average player.
I'm not making some sort of judgement about him. Just stating an observation. He has to leave games more than the average player. There have been players who played through an eye poke. But I understand, not all eye pokes are the same. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
Curious why more players haven't gone to the googles like Kareem/Worthy or even just the glasses like Horace Grant. It was a scrimmage they weren't putting him back in if there was any chance it was more serious.

Except that Bynum had the same amount of heart as a stuffed teddy bear..... _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!

I agree, the style AD plays with will cause players to hit him in the face or eye, it would be nice to see him wear it at least temporarily but a lot of players don’t like wearing goggles.

If I had to guess AD will play in the opener but probably in a reduced role.
The Clippers are gonna be without Montrezz Harrell, Zubac and Lou Williams.
An sorry ahead of time for laying my conspiracy theory but that swipe attempt at the ball Michael Carter Williams did look really suspect to me
Considering that AD and a few other veteran Pelican teammates gave MCW the Mario Chalmers treatment back in the days, I thought it could of been intentional.
