Slap some Oakley's on him and play! If no surgery is required than 4 days off and treatment is sufficient. He can rest after we beat the Clipps as we will have the conference all but wrapped up.
AD is no doubt pain sensitive but how many games did he miss all year? Ya'll need to chill with the soft hyperbole.
Good post 2019. the thing is the way Davis plays .. it’s gonna make him get his eyes poked or get concussions it’s just the reality.. as long he keeps getting minor injuries and not major ones then every single fan should be okay with it.

Frank Vogel said @AntDavis23
did not practice today as his eye is still bothering him. He’s day-to-day at this point. Vogel said there “is some concern” Davis would miss Thursday’s game, but he’s “hopeful" that Davis will play.

Anthony Davis has been sitting to the side wearing dark sunglasses. He did not practice today. He was poked in the right eye in Saturday’s scrimmage.
Let's not get too bent out of shape here, these games are meaningless to us. The only goal is to keep people healthy and get them warmed up a bit.
I don’t think anyone is really worried about him missing 1 or a few of the 8 seeding games. The issue is we are always holding our breath with AD.
Some might say how can you control getting poked in the eye, but it seems like he gets poked in the eye more than any other player. Maybe it’s due to his playing style, but the point remains is Lakers simply can’t afford to have him out for any of the playoff games really. They might get away with it in round 1 based on opponent but he can’t miss much.
We are always holding our breath that the next play where he hits the floor or extends his arms isn’t his last for the season...
Time for AD to don the Worthy/Kareem look...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”
Of course he is staying in LA, I never thought that he would leave the team who traded for him. The only question is what kind of contract he will get. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

I'm not going to go through your post history, but this doesn't seem accurate. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

Anthony Davis said the plan is for him to play tomorrow against the Clippers in the first seeding game. “The eye is getting better,” he said.
Heard AD practicing today on radio. Looks like he’s playing tomorrow
awesome news
I know these games are virtually meaningless for us but I'm especially interested in watching tomorrow's game _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way
Anthony Davis says the plan is for him to play tomorrow against the Clippers. Said he's going to get his eye re-evaluated by doctors tonight, but that he plans to take the court in the debut.
Looked at the standings at some point and I believe I recall that if we beat the Clips tomorrow, we would technically only need to win one more of the remaining seven games to sew up the #1 seed. Would allow the team to use the seeding games purely for playoff prep, resting guys and experimenting a little more.

Good to see AD playing.
It looks like the clippers aren’t even taking these 8 games as anything more than a tune up. They will do just enough to keep the 2 seed and make sure they play full lineup for a few minutes just to get some chemistry going.
They used the exhibition games as a way to abuse the system, that’s why 4 of 5 of their players haven’t even been around for the 3 game exhibition.
Playing possum again...but I hope the lack of continuity bites them in the ass.

Meanwhile Vogel and Co. (minus Lionel Hollins ) are preparing for war like it’s Game 7.
Either way still feels pretty damn good we beat their asses in March where for the first time both teams were fully healthy and active.
Should of won the Christmas game too but oh well on to the next chapter.
Glad to see AD more than likely going to play as most of us predicted.
He’s not going to turn down any chance at revenge towards Zubac.
If AD plays tomorrow I can already read the headlines. If we win the game means nothing as the Clippers didn't have Lou Williams and Montrezl. If we lose then it means that the Clippers will win in 4 or 5 as they are clearly the superior team.

Win or lose, the more negative the better.
One thing opposing teams do not want is a well rested and healthy Lebron entering the Playoffs with extra motivation of negative newspaper clippings hanging over his locker.

I wanna beat the Clippers tomorrow and then beat the Raptors on Saturday.
Horrible game we had against them earlier this season where they didn’t even have Ibaka and Gasol in the lineup. I’m sure Lebron and AD are seeking revenge

Christmas game was frustrating, but Lakers more than made up for it in the March game that had full rosters AND the clippers were trying.
I’m not even worried about tomorrow, win or lose. It’s not going to give us any insight tbh other than maybe how Dion and JR perform in those non-Lebron minutes.
The March game remains the most significant clippers/lakers matchup...everyone played and we saw specific matchups and counters.
