My question remains, uberzev: If Q can get the Suns Kurt Thomas, a proven veteran big, why can't the Lakers get a proven big for Caron? _________________ "Here come the Lakers!" - R.I.P. Chick Hearn |

Yeah, they'll do this trade. I hope Mitch is smart enough to realize that they won't get Stoudemire or Yao through Free Agency anyway, so why not give him that third guaranteed year?
A three year contract is allright with me. Not that big of a risk, IMO |

its not that i am not in favor of the trade because im on the fence on this one, but i just dont know if Mitch has the balls to pull off a very risky trade like this |

Kwame has a thirst for knowledge, and the league has way too many SF's right now (especially young ones who will become free agents in a few years) |

It's not like he Shawn Bradley and he probably more athletic than any legit PF LA has had in a long time. (Malone too b/c he was old). Think about it: 7 foot, 275. I'm willing to roll with that... |

I was positive about it the first 24 hours after it was reported to be in the works. Now I feel like NO! Caron, Kobe and Odom are very close. It was Odom who complained to Lakers management about the last Butler rumors.
Team chemistry is important. |

I hear Mitch and Phil are trying to get Jack Haley to come out of retirement for another shot on the roster. |
