Did you read Iverson's post today. His letter to Kobe? Wow. Man, Iverson really loved Kobe.

INSIDE KOBE’S TWO LEGENDARY CAREERS
Quote:
The late Lakers legend had two Hall of Fame-worthy careers in his 20 years, one wearing No. 8 and the other wearing No. 24.

It was so cool that on 8-24 the score was actually 24-8 at one point, I was watching it way before it happened and took a photo of the TV when they hit the score.

Strange that the clueless announcer did not pick up on it, although Stu did mention it later...

It was such a inspiring moment, since games are rarely 24-8, Kobe must have been watching and helping in some mystical way...

I'm starting to wonder if Kobe isn't pulling the strings on manipulating the NBA into becoming more socially proactive in the fight for racial justice...and getting the Lakers a championship as an added bonus.

I never underestimate the Mamba.

This is amazing. I don't think he would photoshop the image. At least I hope not.

Well...

At least Kawhi and Paul George Honor Kobe tonight by scoring a combined 24 points

Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ACL) is out of the season.
Barkley's worst case scenario was confirmed, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Barkley left the field Sunday against the Bears in obvious pain, appearing despondent after being helped onto a cart.

Jonathan Abrams Honors the 10-Year Anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s Final Championship | The Arena

Jonathan Abrams (narration):

"He wasn't the Kobe of adulation and adornment that game. He didn't score 81 points or nail a game-winning shot. He clutched rebounds, he showed resolve, he persevered. In the moment when it mattered most he secured his own Jordan-Kerr moment by kicking the ball to Ron Artest."

I've said it for years now. Kobe doesn't get enough credit for authoring that classic/epic moment by pulling a "Jordan to Kerr" play, drawing the double team and making the right play to kick it to an open Ron Artest for the dagger 3. Haters always focused on the 6/24, because he's Kobe. If it was MJ or LeBron people would be going NUTS for that moment as it relates to him. Glad to see it's finally getting the flowers it deserved.
