Davis is not an overpowering player, not in strength, not in weight and not in skill. He is a finesse player. If you expect him to play like Shaq or even Duncan, you will be disappointed. This is the chuck and duck game you all love so much. Don't be upset when you see more and more players who can't post or hit a mid range. |

Remember, even guys like KG who were regarded as one of the toughest players didn't have a ground and pound post up game. A lot of his damage was mid-range and fadeaways.
I think AD is more along those lines (though obviously not the same visible intensity levels as KG). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Is this to placate the Rockets fanbase despite the absurd FT advantage given the discrepancies in style of basketball?

Do flagrant fouls accumulate the way technical fouls do in the playoffs? |

Yes. 1 pt for a flagrant 1, 2 pts for a flagrant 2. You're automatically suspended 1 game at 3 pts or 2 games at 4.

This is why it matters:
Quote: | During postseason play, each flagrant is awarded a point: one for flagrant "1" calls and two for flagrant "2" fouls.
If a player’s playoff point total exceeds 3 points, he will receive an automatic suspension following the game in which his point total passes three points. Each additional flagrant foul committed during the playoffs results in suspensions of greater severity. |

Let’s see if same thing happens when PJ Tucker tries to take someone’s head off. |

Since they are retroactively assessing flagrant fouls, how about one for Westbrook elbowing James in the back on a rebound ?
Certainly looked like an intentional non basketball move to me. |

Was clearly unintentional. Not sure what the league is smoking. They need to fine these refs for being terrible too much. |

Damn, that sucks for AD. Hopefully, he doesn't get any more flagrant fouls called on him. Also, you get suspended if you exceed (not equal) 3 points according to the link provided above. |

the Laker rule i guess. other teams' smaller guys get away with murder mauling down our bigs, out guards constantly get fouls called just by breathing on Harden. |

Also, how is Harden not assessed a flagrant (only a technical) for hitting AD in the face? |

Seeing it now...seems to be an intended blow to the chin by Harden. MUCH worse than AD's shot to the groin in a basketball move. |

Neither AD nor Harden's flagrant and tech respectively should've been ruled as such IMO. I feel like they're baiting either team to have a star player miss a game against the Clips. |

Ballmer can buy LA sports media, doesn't put it past me he would do the same with the refs. |

Yeah AD is more KG in that regard but KG can initiate and create offense better than AD. So he can establish his team offensive flow so to speak . AD is much better when you put in better position to score instead of him initiating any offense. |

Yeah I agree AD's best comparison is KG. Garnett was a way better playmaker but AD offsets it with probably one of if not the best face up game in the league.
He does have the same problem with KG where both would kinda float on offense at times but other than that they are similar. |

I don't ever recall seeing KG "float" through a game. Even if his jumpshot wasn't falling (which felt like never against us), his defense and rebounding were always there. You always knew he was on the floor. AD definitely disappears from time to time. |

On Mr. West, let's point out that the all-defensive team was not started until his 9th year in the league. Otherwise, he'd have a bunch more. |

AD leads the playoffs in PPP at high volume (there are others with low volume possessions who have a higher PPP). But that's pretty impressive without shooting a lot of 3s.
Hate on that. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

So inconsistent. Good game bad game good game bad game. We're gonna need another Lebron once he retires. We need someone who we could count on in the playoff and down the stretch. AD, so far, has not shown that. He's great for regular season wins but I'm not sure he's reliable in the playoffs. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

Can you define what a good game is and what a bad game is?
I agree we need another lead wing when Bron retires. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |
