he has been worst at everything this year

He’s pretty bad at running down the court as well. He’s good at getting defensive miss cue stare downs from Lebron though.

Nevermind

kind of mind boggling, Green supposed to be that 3D guy we coveted since Ariza left.

Rondo is 39th among all players in playoff Player Impact Plus-MInus at a +0.27, right above Luka Doncic (whose defense is a -1.0).

That puts Rondo 6th among Lakers, behind: LeBron, AD, Caruso, Kuz, and Green (in that order).

Re: Green, he must be doing something right on defense to have the 5th best pipm on the team. I gotta pay more attention to him on defense.

Sounds cliche by now, but the fact Vogel sticks with Green must mean he's having a positive impact (or expected to have) on the team, right?

You gotta think that Green will have a lights-out game at some point, and we will be looking at Vogel like he was a genius for playing him this whole time.

He's been much better since the first game or two in the Blazers series on the defensive end especially even though he still gets absolutely roasted at times but luckily we have Lebron and AD playing most minutes with him which kindddd of helps out.

He's def. way overdue for a 4+ three's performance and to take a turn as that third option for a game. I'd love to see him have one against the Rockets and at least one against the Clips and he'd be earning that paycheck.

teams still closeout hard on him and he does a great job on hustle plays. Tied for second on the team in deflections with 17, tied for first in offensive loose balls recovered, second in contested shots with 59. Vogel - most coaches - would appreciate the effort despite the lackluster offensive results.

We're up 2 to 1 on Houston, it's a good thing we don't need Danny's offense so far. He will get hot for a series. Hopefully, if we're fortunate enough to advance, it will be in the western conference finals or the finals.

Agreed, DG has plenty left in the tank.

Sorry if I’m wrong. I just assume you’re Darius Soriano and when I read your posts, I read it with his voice. 😝

Who’s better, current Danny Green or 07-08 Sasha Vujacic?

I hope he can give us at least one good game in this series. Maybe next one is his. Hope for 4 threes and good defense. Lets go.

Danny has a good looking 3 ball. Law of averages say, he will have a period where it will come back. But, I do think he is a little older and slower than his peak Spurs days. He is on decline, IMO.

What I like about Danny is he is usually in the right spot on O, and a great teammate. You can just tell his value there. He understands system basketball and how to play around a superstar. Not everyone can do that. But his defense is not what it used to be, and he looks slower than in the past. Maybe it is also the speed that the Blazers and Rockets play with. It does not bode as well for Danny.

If we advance, we really need Danny to step up.

Who is better On offense, Green or Lakers era Steve Blake?

I think Sasha of that era is better than Green, not even factoring in the money.

How was Danny pre-bubble? I honestly can't remember.

My good memories of him were -

- His 1st Laker game where he made 7 three's and scored 28 against Kawhi.

- That put back dunk vs Atlanta where Dwight went crazy.

- Game tying 3 point shot vs Dallas to send game to OT.

Haha, thanks, but no! He's quite insightful though, so I'm quite flattered!

Time for Green to hit 4-5 threes in one of these games in this series. He’s overdue.

When Green goes for a layup, does anyone else’s heart drop?

He made that one, but he also came ** that close to missing it. That thing came a little too hard at the front of that rim lol
