They lost this series when they made that trade for Westbrook last season. Morey's been a little too trigger happy with the trades.

I actually thought them getting Covington was gonna be good for them.
Remember his first game against us for them?
But he ended up being a huge non factor like the rest of their role players.

Maybe he'll trade Westbrick back to his hometown team (Lakers) next season.

Danny Green and Mcgee for Wesbrook

For D'Antoni, yes. Morey is staying.

Here's the interview: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/rockets/2020/02/07/daryl-morey-interview-rockets-can-beat-lakers-after-trade/4686759002/

He also stated the Lakers were the favorites over the Clippers, Rockets and everyone else in the West.

The Lakers deserve to be called the favorites. They play better than anyone to this point. They’re playing unbelievable basketball at both ends. So they’re the favorite. We’re in a group with the Clippers, Utah and Denver and the other top contenders in the West...

Don't know why MDA gets a pass by so many people. How many players does he have to break, till people realize his style of play physically hurts his higher usage players. CP3 every year in Houston, Gordon every year in houston, Kobe's achilles, Pau's platar fascia. Seeing CP3's health this year vs the past 2 years is eye opening. Kudos to Harden for staying healthy though. I guess taking plays off and playing a grounded game has really helped with durability.

Westbrook was on a tear the final 30 games leading up to the COVID break. Never looked right in Orlando. Between taking time off cause he tested positive and then his quad injury.

I'd prefer that they send him to the Clippers

Lotta rest time at the free throw line.

Morey is an idiot that believes you can look at numbers to determine the outcome of a season, and he's dumb enough to hire an even dumber coach. Neither one deserve a job in the NBA....ever!

Yep, but MDA will get a job. Because his teams are "fun to watch". People are saying this micro ball experiment will be looked at in the future the same way people look back on 7 seconds or less now. Which I guess is a compliment to some. To me I'll look at both as good regular season strategies and underachieving post season strategies.

Grant Hill was hilarious on NBA TV tonight. Basically he was trying to say that Rockets style of basketball and their current roster in particular after trading away Capella was whack. But he couldn’t come out and say they were whack because he has to be professional. LOL

I mean, Capella was injured and was going to miss the rest of the season, hard to blame them for trying to get someone who could contribute now

It wasn’t the Capella trade that was the fireable offense.
