This team needs shooting from the PG position so bad. I’ll pass on Zo.

He's shooting 37.5% from 3 on 6.3 attempts a game? He has no midrange game. But he's improved tremendously from 3.

No. Not a playoff player (who knows?), no midrange and can’t make layups. Hell, he doesn’t even extensive his arms when trying.

First off, not sure the Pels are planning on letting him go. IMO trading Holiday seems like the much better move considering the team and situation.

Secondly, why would having a young ball handler that facilitates the offense, plays defense and shoots 37% on 6 3pt attempts a game be a "bad" thing?

Most around here can embrace knuckleheads like Howard or Smith but still hold animosity towards Ball? Whose biggest issues were being a 19 yr old that struggled to meet lofty expextations as the Lakers savior and a crazy media whore of a Father.

Lakers would only be so lucky to be in position to bring him back.

He has improved his 3 ball. I think D Antoni will do wonders for him. They have the personnel to run his offense and young gazelles to run teams to the ground.

Zo does a few things well that work with this particular team.

-great defender with size to guard 3 positions (so switchy)
-improving 3 point shooter, 37.5% on 6.3 attempts a game.
-can help run the offense when LBJ needs a break.
-excellent passer, amazing fast break operator.

We know his weaknesses for sure. I wonder if Klutch is going to try to move Zo to wherever his brother lands after the draft.

Much more than that. I think he's a better defender, shooter, playmaker, passer, etc. Not even close IMO.

But I think Klutch is going to try to reunite him with LaMelo.

Lonzo’s contract is probably a non-starter.

Is this a Chino Hills tank Kuzma is wearing? If so, that would make a lot of sense.

Darius has more talent than most blog boys around the NBA combined. He puts them to shame.

My list of young core I’d like to see back.

1) Ingram
2) DLO or Ball
3) Clarkson or Nance Jr
4) T Bryant
5) Bonga

Someone is coming back at some point. Clarkson most likely.

I say this every time Zo is brought up.

He shot below 30% between 3 feet from the basket and the 3PT line this year.
He is easy to guard in the 1/2 court because his offensive game is so limited and predictable.
He's afraid of drawing shooting fouls because his career best single season FT% is 56%. Thus he averages 1 FT attempt a game. Despite playing 32 MPG. We still have another season of Caruso under 3 mill next year. Whatever Lonzo costs, I'd rather spend it elsewhere.
