Is Kuzma our Rick Fox? Third scorer with defense? I hope so.

He’s definitely not AC Green with the models he’s been bagging. 🤣

Rick Fox was never the third scorer. He was just one of the merry band behind Kobe and Shaq who could chip in 9 or 10 points a game.

After we traded Rice, the Lakers never had a third scorer -- it was a two-man band and then everyone else. Like it is now.

On any given game, you expect 50 points from Lebron and AD, and then you hope some combination of Green, Kuzma, KCP, et provide the rest.

Kuzma usually plays a solid all-around game against the Nuggets. He should have a good series vs Denver. He matches up well with whoever the Nuggets throw at him.

I think he matches up well with their younger forwards, a Porter Kuzma matchup might be interesting. I think it will be like the Rocket series, lots of cuts to the basket and then going to the corner 3 point line.

He played very well, and more under control than I've ever seen him. He resisted all urges to shoot when it was his turn, or time for a heat check. He just moved the ball and only took the smart shots. Good all around d also.

Definitely one of Kuzma's worst playoff games, looks like nerves got to him here with those Kwame Brown hands of his.

He still did get some 8 points and a couple big boards especially that sequence off the missed LeBron free throw. Hoping he bounces back with a better game during game 3.

Not worried about Denver buuuuuuttt.... I don't like our chances against Boston if this kid doesn't play well.

I think we'd possibly be okay, if he's just average.. but he can't be terrible out there and we win against Boston.

I think Vogel rode him way more than I would prefer in this game. Morris even barely played.

Saw Bad Kuz out there again tonight. Dumbass needs to learn how to play within the offense and stop acting like he's a star. He gets sucked into 1on1 battles with scrubs like MPJ from the other team. Just awful play after awful play from this guy, and he was lucky to not get benched. His play alone almost cost us this game.

I don't think the the one on one plays were the problem. There was only one of those. The rest of the shots he missed were actually wide open threes. He did a good job cutting to the basket again which is how he ended up with a few points.

It was the turnovers that were the problem and a couple missed rotations on defense. He had butterfingers today from passes by Rondo.

The turnovers, specifically, are what i meant by awful play after awful play that almost cost us the game. Everyone misses shots, but he forces a lot of shots too (that he has no business taking given his skill level).

His concentration and IQ looked reverted to early season.
Hopefully just one game because mostly bubble Kuzma has been much better in terms of D, IQ etc

Millsap has had his number since he's been in the league. Hate that matchup for him. They're zoning us. So next game hopefully he can find some gaps cutting through the land or shooting from the perimeter.
