2020 has been a really weird year. The most normal thing that has happened was the Clippers collapsing in the 2nd round

That's one of the biggest choke jobs I've ever seen. Clippers had more talent and Nuggets destroyed them with more resolve and great performances by their two best players. But bottom line that decided this series is Murray and Jokic outplayed Kawhi and PG by a huge margin under pressure.

I didn't know that I would delight in this inevitable result nearly so much.

Kobe 2010 - 6/24 shooting, still manages to win game 7 and the championship. Media ignores everything except his shooting percentage.

Kawhi 2020 - 6/22 shooting, chokes in game 7 of semi's, media is already starting to make excuses (and will continue to do so).

I'd like to see the same scrutiny applied to Kawhi's fail of a performance.

Kawhi and PG straight up quit by the end of the 3rd. Q-U-I-T.

What excuses are the media making for him? Every talking head I’ve seen so far post game are talking about how terrible his play was.

Anyway, the Clippers biggest weakness is they have no clear leader on that team. Kawhi and George are worker bees. Kawhi had Lowry and Duncan who lead those teams. They have no one on the floor to turn to for leadership. How many awful shots did we see in the 4th? Lou missed a point blank layup and George hit the side of the backboard = anxiety. Any chance they could trade for Chris Paul? Still can get 30 on a given night, floor general and hungry for a ring.

They can't make excuses for Kawhi for this one. He and PG were just terrible.

You can tell PG was scared of the moment the whole game but when he clanked the 3 off the side of the backboard,he looked like he crapped his pants

There are no clippers fans...they are lakers haters from other teams living in LA. I remember taking my car to service and its manager is a huge Queen fan and always talk *hit about the Lakers.

Billy Crystal
Money Mayweather
Rhianna
Clipper Darryl
Malcolm in the Middle
Jeff from Tarzana

They're pretty much screwed as far as getting any more star power unless they trade PG13 which would then just keep them around the same level while getting much older. On top of that no younger team would want him anyways as he's clearly lost a lot of value after this season and has plenty of injury concerns at this stage as well.

I seen other people mentioning trading Lou but he's not even worth a 1st next season imo, he'll be turning 35 next year and has been a massive defensive liability in most big matchups all season not to mention him doing yet another disappearing act in most of the Playoffs.

CP3 would make them scary though, no doubt! Luckily they have no real way to get him.

Kawhi was 1/11 in the 2nd half. That was so weird. He even missed some wide open looks. Lou Will was missing multiple point blank layups in the 2nd half. Paul George is going to Paul George, but hitting the side of the back board was quite amazing.

The clippers curse is always talked about. We saw it with the CP3/Blake Clippers blowing a 3-1 lead when they were on the verge of going to the WCF for the first time. How badly they played tonight is just so weird. How can you not believe in a the curse? Kawhi is usually a robot who came up huge in a game 7 last year. He joins the Clippers and he chokes as bad as a star can choke in a game 7.

Paul Pierce was right, with the clip you see at the end: he couldn't see how the Lakers could beat the Clippers in a playoff series. Yeah, because for that to happen, you have to get there first, don't you, Clippers?

CLIP CITY GRIP CITY.

Being a Clippers fan makes about as much sense as being a Trump supporter.

Crapping on Montrezl hard... he was their leading scorer, what an epic collapse... Tyson-Buster level, Yankees-RedSox (ugh), 2016, 2006 US basketball and of course Joshua-Ruiz

Clips traded
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
unprotected first-round pick in 2022
Unprotected first-round pick in 2024
Unprotected first-round pick in 2026
pick swap in 2023
Pick swap in 2025
Then traded 2020 first-round pick for soon-to-be free agent Marcus Morris Sr.
