Kawhi was 1/11 in the 2nd half. That was so weird. He even missed some wide open looks. Lou Will was missing multiple point blank layups in the 2nd half. Paul George is going to Paul George, but hitting the side of the back board was quite amazing.
The clippers curse is always talked about. We saw it with the CP3/Blake Clippers blowing a 3-1 lead when they were on the verge of going to the WCF for the first time. How badly they played tonight is just so weird. How can you not believe in a the curse? Kawhi is usually a robot who came up huge in a game 7 last year. He joins the Clippers and he chokes as bad as a star can choke in a game 7.
People forget this but Kawhi deteriorated last year in the postseason too. He just happened to have a much deeper team in Toronto that could help lift him. And we saw how good they are even without him this season. I really think that knee of his was acting up. Don't think he can handle a long series of playoff basketball. Clippers could be screwed for many years to come.

Not sure if that's true about Kawhi or not but I did hear that Clipper players were gassed in the 4th last night and were asking to come out after 3 minute stints. Their "load management" approach to the regular season bit them in the butt. Maybe it works for a battle-tested, cohesive championship team, but not for a newer group and certainly not with the covid19 interruption (though they couldn't have predicted that).

They had 4 months off. It's not so much their approach to the regular season but imo the lack of work they did while they were off that bit them. It looks like they just didn't put in the work.

He averaged 30.5 ppg and 9.1 rpg in the playoffs next year. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
I wonder if Tyronn Lue is gunning for his job. Weird to have a former championship coach only be an assistant coach. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Anybody else do this? I've been replaying the Clipper games 5,6 and 7. I like to forward it to the parts where they have the biggest lead.. see all their happy faces, gestures and antics. Then watch their world slowly crumble. LOL!
