Hello was OK. The VIDEO sucked. That statue was a f'd up portrayal of Lionel even BY a blind chic. Lionel had to sing that kind of sh, too. He was pigeonholed after he left The Comms.

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now -- the hit from the 1985 blockbuster hit "Mannequin"!

Where the hell was Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Head Over Heels, and Shout on that list? That album was 1985 iirc. Songs From The Big Chair.

No trashing Tears for Fears from this guy. I happen to think Songs From the Big Chair was one of the 80s best albums. In fact you might say I was Head over Heels about that release.

Watch out. Mother's Talk.

There's not a bad track on that album.

Fine. I'll go. Here's the good of 1986

Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel

Kiss - Prince

Yeah, that's about all I got.

Here's the bad of 1986

Just about everything else.

Not really. But this has made it obvious to me that my memories from that era have been mostly wiped clean.

So this is what it's come to? Is there any point in taking this exercise into the 90s?

That last one came on at the dealership while I was waiting for my car. Hadn't actually heard it in years.

It was even worse than I remember.
