Major reason why we had a chance down the stretch was cause Rondo got those 3 steals late. Denver closed the game on a 10-1 run and that wasn't on Rondo. +/- is deceiving.
Agree the 4 TO can't happen though.

Rondo showed our guys how to attack the high screen and roll. Even Jokic can’t back him down. Now both our guards and our bigs especially AD can watch the film and see how it’s done.

Having said that, I don’t think Vogel has made it easier for our guys to get into the offensive flow. His rotation has been confusing .

Rondo was key to the comeback at the end. But he ran out of gas. And really shouldn't be closing out. He turned down several open 3s and missed key defensive assignments at the end.

I loved his energy on defense during that key comeback. But it was like letting a middle relief pitcher who was perfectly setting up the game for the closer stay an inning too long out there.

You couldn’t blame Rando. If there is someone to be blamed, it’s always our superstars. It’s their team. They’re responsible for all time, including coming back and closing the game.

I'm saying he literally ran out of gas. He spearheaded that awesome comeback but he was toast. Vogel made the right call to keep Rondo in that comeback; wrong call in letting him finish.

Murray hit shots over Caruso, Kuzma, and Brow to close things out. I guess you could blame Rondo for the backdoor pass to Millsap. Even though Murray had already broken down the defense before the pass.

Personally, I think Vogel should've use his last time out. It wasn't just Rondo gassed out there. Vogel was saving his last time out for a late game situation that never happened.

I liked that closing group of KCP/Green/Kuz/LBJ/AD. All 5 would shoot the open 3 and not hesitate.

Rondo helped take us to the mountaintop but he was so exhausted. And he passed up a few 3s when things got tight. I'm not saying he cost us the game but he gave everything for that comeback. We wouldn't have that chance without him but he shouldn't have been closing out at the end.

Rondo was crap in the first three quarters, but he was one of the first/only guys to fight at the beginning of the 4th quarter to start our run.

Rondo is a player that is essential to the Lakers success for he is the ONLY other player who can handle the ball and create plays.
And he can bring it for short periods. But is is getting old and lost a step.

But if Rondo can be playoff Rondo for a few more games it will be great.

I really hope Rondo opts-in to his contract next season and sticks around. I know he often sucks in the regular season, but we've seen how valuable he is in the playoffs.

Plus, his championship experience and really high BBIQ is something that can't be replaced.

Really thought this dude was washed in the regular season. Never been so happy to eat crow. Such vision and smarts!

We are so much better when Rondo is handling the ball and giving LBJ an opportunity to find his preferred post-up positions.

LBJ handling the ball leads to heavy legs, and too many jacked up shots.

I cannot believe how much I am loving Rondo. He's been our 3rd best player these entire playoffs.

Rondo should just sit out the regular season and come in just for the playoffs.

We don't/can't win a chip this year without this guy.
At this point there is no difference between rooting for Rondo and rooting for us to win a chip. The two are synonymous. We need what he provides too much.

17 less minutes than Bron tonight. 1 less assist.

To the plus/minus warriors out there.

Herro dropped 37 points last night. 2nd worst plus/minus on the team at -4. And was the reason they won.

Rondo looks like he is tapping into the Mamba Mentality. He was unconscious out there. Not getting too high when the Lakers go up big, I wish more players on this team had that cool intensity.

People just love to nitpick some meaningless games in the regular season when the big picture is winning the chip. My expectation was Rondo gonna be a big key in winning us one playoff series . So anything after that is like sort of bonus.
