If detroit and LA doesnt make it to the the finals this year... we need to start where defense in our PG position lies and that man is Chauncy Billups.... Im calling it Chauncy in the off season ....he can opt out in 2007

I could see Cleveland making a strong move for Chauncy. Something like Hughes, Varejo, Gooden for Chauncy, McDyess and Mohamed.

Cleveland has a better package of players, but that is THE division rival. I bet you Orlando ends up using their money on VC (instead of Billups), and Milwalkee won't pony up for the Big Ben sized deal that is needed to land Chauncy. Farmar and Kwame could be a package that gets it done, but again its up to Detroit because the MLE won't land him. The thing you don't want to run into is having him signed really long term (like 6 years). 2010 is WAY down the road, but up until them they would be pressing luxury tax annually, and having to then max out Andrew's deal. Billups is worth a big contract, I just hope Mitch doesn't go extreme to land him.
