Doc is not a good coach - Kawhi likely pushed him out once he saw how bad Doc was as a coach. Anyone hiring him would be doing so because of his reputation as a person.

Clippers need a great X&O coach.

Yes, Doc Rivers is a good person, we all saw him in tears when the Kobe tragedy happened, if he wanted to stick it to the Clippers I’d welcome him on the coaching staff.

good Lord, no. I think the Clippers are so unlikeable due to Doc. The have felt like the 08 Celtics since he's been coaching them. I actually think with him gone, the Clippers might become more likable...F them though.

!!!

I've been wishing someone would hire Mark Jackson just to get him off the air. In order, these are my most hated:

1) Reggie
2) Mark Jackson
3) C. Webb

I always liked Mark cuz he gave major love to Kobe and the Lakers. And he has great rapport with Van Gundy.

I actually think Reggie and CWebb are the worst of the bunch. They love listening to themselves speak instead of focusing on the action. I think Van Gundy and Jackson do a better job of sticking to talking about what's happening on the court unless it's some blowout game.

Doc is a good guy. I wish him well. Just didn't like seeing him affiliated with the Celtics and Clippers.

Was thinking the same.
He sucks at developing players.
But he's a front runner coach. Unfortunately for him, there's no KG on the 76ers that he can ride through the playoffs. But they're talented enough to be a high seed in the east.

Possible replacements IMO: Lue, Kenny Atkinson, David Fizdale, Becky Hammon, Ume Udoka, John Stockton, Gary Payton, Mark Jackson, Jason Kidd, and a real dark horse that will surprise the (bleep) out of everybody.

Yes... Doc is better for the Sixers then MDA.. getting D’Antoni means the Sixers would have to appease him which means trading Embiid which would be a very stupid... Doc Rivers would appreciate Embiid.

Would Denver help us like that? I mean, Milwaukee did agree to send Brogdon to Indiana last year, but still. And that cost the Pacers a 1st and two 2nd's.

It would probably be more likely if a player sign-and-traded to us came from an Eastern Conference team. Davis Bertans! Haha.

Reggie isn't great but i find him infinitely preferable to Jackson and C. Webb. Mark Jackson has been coasting for years, saying the same 5 generic things. Webber is boring and seems to have little idea what he's talking about. Reggie at least sort of raises his energy to the moment.

Ballmer needs a known entity that Kawhi will respect. He can't pull the Out of the Box move like Cleveland did with David Blatt. It's gonna have to be someone with weight which is why i think Lue is the guy. I don't see JVG putting himself in that situation. And why isn't anyone talking about Stan Van Gundy? I think he's unfairly maligned for his Detroit seasons, but look at those rosters. For 3 of the four years his best players were Andre Drummond and...KCP. He had one year where he got 20 something games out of Blake Griffin and then he was let go. Dude is a good coach.
