If Dwight didn’t try to revenge flagrant foul Butler, and gave them that 6 points possession, we would have won.

This game is down to the wire, I knew it, every points counts

You can’t give away free points because of your emotion.

That’s was a back breaker.

We almost didn’t come back from that.

I was so frustrated when he did that

This was like game 5 vs the Nugs - remember, after he committed that foul vs Milsap? I believe Nugs also went on an 8-0 run and turned what was a large lead into a competitive game. The difference here is the Heat did not fade.

This game from the get go looks like it was going down to the wire.

The Heat had a lot of momentum, and Butler is channeling 2006 Wade spirit in term of getting to the line by just run into someone.

We can not afford to have any flagrant foul in a frikin close out game.

And why do we keep fouling 3 point shooter.
That’s some bone headed plays.

But I hate Howard foul, it bug me the whole game

Yep - beyond aggravating. Hopefully Dwight just cools it and plays more like he did in the second half of game 4. We just need good defense and rebounding from him - he doesnt need to become the team's enforcer.

Jimmy Buckets ain't no joke. Have to find a way to get the ball out of his hands. 10 ft. in he's a handful. Herro is also a handful. Then there's Robinson. He was killing us from the 3 point line. This is a solid, well coached team.

I don't understand why KCP wasn't key on the last play. He was shooting lights out. I hope AD is close to 100% at game time tomorrow. We need him to play good D and get at least 25. Bron gotta be Bron. He's shooting 3 excessively. He shot it well last game. I think Miami will live with that. I'd rather see him rush the rim, get Bam in foul trouble.

We can't let Duncan Robinson have a career night and expect to win. Defensively we must shut the perimeter shooters down and dominate on the glass.

We need to stop complaining after not getting foul calls. No excuses, it’s going to take full effort every play. Not getting back on D, careless inbound passes, olé defense... that was what forced us to play from behind all game long. You have to crush them from the opening whistle. And when they make their run, you have to adapt. We sucked last game. Plain and simple.

He did to Paxon and Kerr

Paxton and Kerr made their shots. Just saying

The dude walks everytime he touches the ball.🤔

This!

really? If refs call every travel call Lakers will also be affected. Significantly

I missed the game, seems like Lebron had a great game.

Can someone do a brief summary on what went wrong please? Role players sucked? Foul calls? Jimmy going super saiyan?

I didn't think it would come to this, but I'm rolling out my Kobe #8 jersey circa 2002 for the win tomorrow.

If it goes to a game 7 🧢 #33 jersey will be making an appearance.

Ahhhhhh, nobody said every call. Once or twice would be ok in the duration of 6 games.

I am also curious why a PnR with LBJ & Green. Why not LBJ & AD, with three shooters around the perimeter. I would trust AD over Green for that shot. Though in my opinion, I don't run PrR instead I let Lebron take it. He was shooting the 3 ball well just let him jab and shoot.

My only guess would be a.d. and his on again off again on again off and on non or injury.
Still not sure🤔

Lakers players need to not play scared.

Just let it all hang out.

Shoot (bleep) wide open jumper if you are open.

We got to believe Miami got as much chance to win this as us, and it is a dog fight.

We are not entitled to anything.

(bleep) all the analyst saying we are going to win for sure, nothing is for sure.

We got to play to win, and play not to lose.

Everyone got to be ok with having Miami beat us (which is not likely to happen) but we cannot accept beating ourselves.

That was a brilliant performance by James, shame no one else really showed out. That was laid out perfectly for Green to have an epic 3 in finals history and his jacked up back/hip has affected his shot.

If you got anyone outside of James, AD and KCP to show up, Lakers win. Can't expect a championship to be handed to you. Won't win if you let a undrafted player light you up. Also what is up with Kuzma and following on 3s? Get it together man.

LG finally came online. I hope the Lakers do better than the site. We need to start fast. When we start slow the energy it takes to keep up and finish is too much. Start fast and keep the pedal to the medal. C'mon Lakers my heart can't take it.

Last 12 hours a full 1 point swing.
Current odds lakers -6

For those of you that are into that sort of thing.👍

Going into game 5 LeBron had won 17 of his last 18 closeout games and the Heat were lucky to win game 5 when Danny missed an open shot. The Heat are not going to win three closeout games in a row.
