Well done, you finally get your ring now. If you decide to keep playing, stay here for what they offer you. If McGee leaves, you end up being our starting center.

Anyone remember this from 2015?

Quote:
The Rockets lost Game 5 against the Warriors on Wednesday and were eliminated from the playoffs. Still, Dwight Howard told the media after the game that "no matter how the season ends, I'm still a champion. And I won't let anyone tell me different."

Not necessarily. Demarcus Cousins also has his way with Jokic. Obviously having Cousins and Dwight would be ideal

Hope you're kidding..

Cousins can't guard anyone at this stage of his career.

We don't win a chip without Dwight this year. He was key in that series against Denver.

I don't know what (if anything) Cousins has left in the tank. But I would bet the Lakers have a pretty good idea. Prior to his injury he was looking like he was in the best shape of his career last summer.

If you can grab him for the minimum for next season (which you can) then he is absolutely worth the risk. You mentioned Howard, people were saying the same things about Howard this past summer. That he was done. Not worth the risk. He proved them wrong. Cousins could do the same, but unlike Howard (tail end of his career) if Cousins makes it back he is still young enough to have some years in the tank.

Quite a few of us knew he had value.. He put up solid numbers when given the opportunity. And he's always been a hell of a defender, unlike Cousins.

This is a defensive team. Which is something Cousins isn't good at, he'll be even worse with less mobility.

Different scenarios when you factor in Boogie the last four or so years.

Congrats Dwight, and THANKS! As someone who had evil thoughts about you, you sure redeemed yourself.

Now re-sign, and lets do it again!

Will be able to offer him a little more than the vet min without using any of our exceptions. About 3M. Hopefully he stays in LA.

Not that he needs another championship with us to cement his HOF status, but it'd be a lot cooler if he did.
