No one . The first time I saw him at summer league, all I was thinking is who’s that and quite honestly, I thought he was an aged journeymen from Europe. Then he gradually grow into me. The way he progress , it’s just a matter of time before he can finally a legit threat on 3 ball. |

We may not have won this year without AC, especially when AB checked out of the bubble. Not. Star yet, but I’d say he was one of the top 5 role players making under $5 million a year in the entire NBA. |

Yeah, seriously I think that is probably what most people thought. He performed well in the SPL and I thought maybe he can be a 12th man one day. But he's worked hard and become an important part of the team with his defense and hustle. |

Almost untouchable - wouldn't trade him unless a star was coming back in the trade. |

So proud of AC and where he came from. If he improves on the 3 he will be dynamite.
Long term I hope we can keep him but if he gets that $10mm per pay day down the road. I will be happy for his success. |

He has like a 5M cap hold a year from now, unless we're pinching pennies to fit a guy like Oladipo then they'll keep him. Kid is a great defender that gives this team a swarming defensive identity. Any shooting improvement would be awesome. |

Caruso is basically to us as Marcus Smart is to the Celtics.
The dude is the heart and soul of this team, and he’s going to continue to get better. If his 3 point shot gets consistent, he would be a near all star level player. That is all he needs here.
What a ride he has been here. I remember calling him a YMCA player since his summer league but boy am I glad to eat that crow. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Improved playmaking and shooting will make him an elite player. |

AC will be in Lakers folklore forever, I have no doubts about that
What a winning player. Makes the right hustle plays, does the little things that are so important to do as a role player surrounding stars... and so damn likeable while doing it, too
I'm proud of you, Alex! _________________ #18 next... |

Been a big fan since they had that great Summer League (which was one of the few rays of light during the Jimmy Buss / Cupcake era). Love his attitude, always been a fighter and winner. |

His energy, defense, commitment to move off the ball on offense, drive, Not just be a 3nD guy it is so valuable. He is the best young asset we ever invested in, the last 5 years. By FAR. |

Not without a more reliable jumper. Since AD likes to get run next to one of the centers in the starting unit, it's better to have floor spacers around them and then bring AC off the bench in lineups with one big. |
Agree 100%, he's the perfect off the bench energy guy that provides a bit more then that. He's still extremely suspect from the perimeter but the potential is without question there to be at least an average outside shooter. He's shooting just under 27% for this postseason from 3 and that includes his 2-4 night in game 2.
He gets that going and he's one of the best role players in the entire NBA imo. As we all know he is good/great at just about everything else. |
He didn’t too bad, actually disruptive as hell for the heat as a starter... good job AC |

I wonder how much of his success has come from other teams underestimating him. He'll probably get scouted more going forward and that could limit his impact. I hope not.
If Rondo could dramatically improve his 3-point shot, I have no doubt AC can too. |
